Мета: закріплення і усвідомлення раніше засвоєного матеріалу і формування нових знань,навичок та вмінь, формувати навички аудіювання, монологічного та діалогічного мовлення, виконувати мовленнєві зразки. Розвивати логічне мовлення, навички читання, зорову пам’ять, уміння генерувати нові ідеї. Виховувати правила поведінки, терплячість, ініціативність.

Хід уроку:

1. Організаційний момент

1. Greetings

T: It’s time to start our lesson today. Good morning, students.

S: Good morning teacher

T: Hope you’re fine today, let’s greet each other with a song!

(play a “Good morning to you” song)

T: Great. Now take your seats.

2. Warming-up

During our last lessons we learnt different kinds of transport. So let’s revise the vocabulary with the help of a word game “Flip box”

T: You put up a hand. Say the number. I open the box and you tell me what is on the picture. Thumb up (Yes). So, let’s start. Who wants to be the first?

Well, today we continue the topic “Off we go” and work with the story. You’ll learn about what happened with our super heroes during their trip.

Guided practice:

So, before we watch and read the story let’s remind ourselves the names of our main heroes.

They are: Flash, Thunder, Misty, Whisper

In the story there will be some new words, repeat the words after me please. Airport, sheep, beach

Ok, my dear friends open the pupil’s books on page 48 and let’s watch the story

Did you like the story? Ok, fine. Now, let’s have a look at ex. 2 p. 49 (Let’s find the things on the pictures, Say the number of the picture)

Well done. You are doing great today.

2. Exercise spot.

I see that you are tired a little bit. Let’s have some rest. Stand up and let’s start (Play the song – What are you doing?)

That was perfect. Take your seats. And we continue.

3. Less guided practice:

Let’s come back to the heroes of the story and see if you can tell who is talking. Open your activity books. Listen, and put a tick in the correct box. (play the track) . Fine, let’s check. Bravo

Check the understanding of the words in the box. Now please find these sentences in the story and complete the gaps. Ok. Time’s up. Let’s read and check.

5. Pair activity (speaking)

Now you’ll work in pair. I give you cards with some activities and sentences, please work in pairs match the cards and sentences and then you’ll make dialogues
