Тема: English homes  (Англійські домівки)

Мета:презентувати новий лексичний матеріал за темою,формувати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць, вдосконалювати компетенції читання, аудіювання й усного та монологічного мовлення; учити працювати у парі, ефективно співпрацювати під час парної та групової роботи,розвивати різні типи пам'яті — слухову, зорову, увагу, уяву,розвивати усні комунікативні уміння з опорою на наочність;виховувати уміння сконцентруватися, слухати інших, формувати доброзичливу атмосферу в класі, виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні свої знань, скріплення навчального матеріалу з життям, загальну культуру учнів.                                                                                                      Обладнання: картки за темою «Я, моя сім'я та друзі (місце проживання)», підтемами «Помешкання», «Дім. Квартира».

Хід уроку

1.      Organizing a lesson. Greetings. Організація уроку. Привітання

2. Checking hometask   Перевірка домашнього завдання                                                                                      

1.Учні зачитують свої речення про кімнати у будинку,пізніше слухають перелік меблів і називають для якої кімнати вони підходять.

1. A gas-cooker, a table, a fridge (It’s a kitchen.)
2. A lamp, a bed, a wardrobe (It’s a bedroom.)
3. A sofa, an armchair, a TV set (It’s a living-room.)
4. A sink, a bath, a toilet (It’s a bathroom.)

2. Listen and repeat (p. 130, ex. 1).

1. Ask pupils to look at the pictures.
2. Say the words.
3. Drill each new word two or three times.
4. Ask pupils to write these words down into their vocabularies.
5. Do choral and individual repetition of every word.
6. Monitor the activity and help where necessary. If you like, make sentences with these words.

Учні дивляться у підручник впр.1 ст.130, розказують, що там зображено і повторяють за вчителем нові слова. Повторення відбувається декілька разів у різних формах, після цього читають та записують їх у словники.

3. Game «Find me». Гра «Знайди мене».

Серед набору букв учні повинні обвести ті, які утворили щойно вивчені слова.

• Look at the blackboard. What words are hidden? Circle them and write down them.

Optional activity                                                                                                                  Ask individuals to come out and do mimes for any of the rooms in the house they learnt in this lesson. They ask, “Which room is this?” and do the mime e.g. washing face and hands = bathroom; yawning and then sleeping = bedroom; watching TV or reading = living-room; breaking eggs or eating = kitchen. The other pupils watch and guess which room it is.

IV. Practice

4.  Reading (p. 130, ex. 2). Читання.

• Pre-reading: Ask pupils to look at the photo and describe it. Look at the blackboard and listen about traditional English home.                                         Read the text.

• While-reading: Do choral and individual repetition of difficult words. Follow the same procedure three or four times. Then pupils read the text themselves in a chain. Do choral and individual repetition if it is necessary again.

•  Post-reading:  Answer the questions

•  What is the text about?
• What room is it on the photo?
• What things are there in the room?
• What do people say about their homes?

V Work in groups Робота в групах

Game “Furnished the room”

Teacher divided children into groups. Every group get pictures of furniture and should furnished the one room of the flat.

Учні отримують зображення різних кімнат та 10 меблів, вчитель зачитує колір і місце знаходження їх, а завдання учнів здогадатися в яку кімнати потрібно поставити названу частину меблів. Інформацію про традиційні будинки і кімнати англійців вони отримали під час виконання попередніх вправ.

4. Ask and answer in pairs (p. 131, ex. 3).

Учні виконують вправу в парах: один учень читає запитання,а інший дає відповідь на нього.                                                                                                      Explain to pupils that they are going to read and answer the questions.                            Ask pupils to read the questions in silence and try to answer them using the information from the text about British houses.

• Ask a bright pupil the first question from the list. A pupil answers. If it is difficult to answer, help him/her. Ask the second question. Do the same procedure. Ask some other pupils. Do choral and individual repetition.

• Pupils read and answer the questions. Monitor the activity and help where necessary.. One or two pairs act out the dialogue, and so on.  Write answers on 4-6 questions on your notebook.

6. Writing (p. 131, ex. 4).

Read the task. You should describe your house or flat. You can begin your story using these sentences. Look at the blackboard.                                                                   За допомогою поданих зразків-структур речення учні повинні описати своє помешкання.
