Тема: «Appearance of a person »

Мета: повторити та активізувати у мові лексику за темою «Зовнішність», формувати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення. Вчити учнів читати окремі слова. Активізувати граматичний матеріал: вживання множини іменників та граматичної структури “It’s a…”, тренувати учнів у вживанні виразів have got/ has got в усному мовленні на рівні фрази і через багаторазове повторення. Активізувати вживання числівників. Розвивати комунікативні навички, мовну здогадку, пам'ять, увагу. Виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань, культуру спілкування, повагу до співрозмовника, ввічливість

Обладнання: підручник, картинки, малюнки дівчинки та монстра, дидактичний матеріал, іграшки, ноутбук, чарівна коробочка, картки із назвами частин тіла, іграшковий магазин, магнітна дошка, магніти.

2. Announcing the topic and aim of the lesson

T. Our topic is «Appearance of a person ». Today we are going to talk about appearance of a person and revise names of our toys.                                                              We’ll practice reading, writing, speaking and describing face and body.

    My favorite toy is a doll (a teddy bear, a train, a lorry …)

II. Main part of the lesson

1. Presentation 1

T. Children, look at the screen, listen, repeat then answer the question.

2. Look at the blackboard , read words and write how many toys there are.

A doll – (dolls), a car – (cars), a ball – (balls), a train – (trains)

3. T. Let’s act «In the toy shop».  I’d like to listen to your dialogues prepared at

home. Your home task was to dramatize the dialogues using toys. (діти розігрують діалоги). You are a shop assistant and you a customer.

    Dialogue 1. At the Toy Department

• What is its name?
• Its name is Vicky.
• Can it cry and talk?

4. Game «Magic box»

T.  Look at this magic box! There are lots of toys.

T. Come up! Take a toy and say «What is it? »

P. It is a ball (a doll, a monkey… a teddy bear)

5. Dancing.

T. What a lovely teddy bear!

Do you know a song about a teddy bear?

P. Yes, we do.
