Праздник «День Святого Валентина».

«St. Valentines Day»

 

Цели: развитие интереса к изучению английского языка, активизация познавательной деятельности; расширение по сравнению с базовым уровнем знания учащихся о традициях и обычаях, существующих в англоязычных странах;   активизация учебных умений и навыков школьников.

Задачи:

Образовательные:

  • Расширить словарный запас по данной теме;
  • Закрепить лексические навыки по теме «St. Valentines Day»;
  • Тренировать фонетические и слухопроизносительные навыки;

 

Развивающие:

  • Способствовать развитию мышления, догадки учащихся;
  • Способствовать развитию умений спонтанного говорения;
  • Развитие творческих способностей учащихся;
  • Способствовать умению анализировать;

 

Воспитательные:

  • Способствовать повышению мотивации к изучению иностранного языка;
  • Способствовать воспитанию у учащихся внимательности;
  • Способствовать созданию условий для коммуникации и работы в командах.

  

 Звучит музыка. Ребята собираются в зале, соблюдая при этом нормы этикета и правила хорошего тона. Собравшись вместе, все поют народную английскую песню «My Bonny is over the ocean

Учителя английского языка выходят на сцену и произносят вступительное слово под звуки записи песни на английском языке.

 

Teacher: Love! Happiness! Beauty! There are not so many days in a year when we pronounce these pleasant words. Today you have an excellent chance to plunge into the atmosphere of love and friendship, to take part in party –games, to practice the use of some pleasant words and expressions on this special occasion.

Happy St.Valentine’s Day!

 

По сцене навстречу друг другу медленно идут юноша и девушка (ведущие праздника). При этом юноша читает стихотворение и дарит розу девушке.

 Затем ведущие поворачиваются к публике и здороваются с ней.

P7(form 4):  St.Valentine’s Day is a religious holiday, which is celebrated in Great Britain, in many European countries and in the USA. St.Valentine’s Day has roots in several legends.

P6:One of the early symbols of love is Cupid, the Roman God of love, who is represented as a young boy with a bow and arrow.

P7.But everyone knows that the main idea of this holiday is LOVE.
