Вступ

Вивчення іноземної мови – це не лише навчальний предмет шкільної програми , це ще й знайомство з іншої культурою, життям, звичаями та традиціями іншомовної культури. Процес навчання англійської мови складний, але цікавий, який формує вміння та навички іншомовного спілкування. Варто зазначити – англійська мова є міжнародною і допомагає спілкуватись з людьми різних національностей та культур. Завданням вчителів іноземної мови є розвиток зацікавленності до вивчення англійської мови. Вивчення англійської мови - це доволі таки складний процес як для учня так і для самого вчителя, але результат того вартий. Метою проведення тижня англійської мови є удосконалення знань, вмінь та навичок отриманих на уроках іноземної мови, розширення світогляду та ерудиції учнів; розвиток творчих здібностей, самостійності, формування вміння концентрувати увагу, виражати власну думку; розвивати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.Урочна й позаурочна робота з англійської мови є складовою єдиного навчально – виховного процесу. Позакласна робота сприяє підвищенню інтересу учнів до вивчення англійської мови,розширює словниковий запас учнів, поглиблює їх соціокультурні знання. Соціокультурний аспект - дуже важливий, адже не можна вивчати мову, не звертаючись до історії, культури, повсякденного життя англомовних країн. Участь учнів в позакласній роботі стимулює їх до поглибленого вивчення англійської мови. Нестандартні форми проведення позакласної роботи надихають учнів на самовдосконалення, відкривають свій потенціал, а також розвивається бажання до навчання, завдяки нестандартним умовам.

«WE LOVE ENGLISH»

Мета: покращення лексико-граматичних навиків, розвиток усного мовлення і творчих здібностей учня, зацікавлення до вивчення англійської мови і культурних цінностей носія мови.

План проведення тижня англійської мови

День 1: День неправильних дієслів.

День 3 :День ігор, ребусів і жартів.

День 4 : День віршиків і повчальних історій.

День 5 :Конкурс «Шляпка». Підведення підсумків тижня англійської мови.

IRREGULAR VERBS

НЕПРАВИЛЬНІ ДІЄСЛОВА

В англійській мові всього існує близько трьохсот неправильних дієслів (точну кількість ніхто не знає) . Їх набагато меньше ніж правильних, але вони доволі часто зустрічаються у повсякденному спілкуванні. Дослідники з Гарварду виявили цікаву закономірність: чим частіше вживається дієслово, тим ймовірніше, що воно залишиться неправильним.

Наводимо приклад віршиків, де англійські неправильні дієслова римуються з українським текстом.

Віршики можуть використовуватись на уроках при вивченні різних тем, а також при диференціації форм дієслів в англійській мові.

THE MONKEY AND THE CROCODILE

There was a monkey that lived on a berry tree on the riverbank. He ate the delicious berries every day.Once, he saw a crocodile rest under the tree who looked tired and hungry. He gave the crocodile some berries.The crocodile thanked the monkey. Soon, they became best friends. The monkey gave the crocodile berries every day.One day, the monkey gave the crocodile extra berries to take home to his wife.His wife, a wicked crocodile, enjoyed the sweet berries, but then told her husband that she wanted to eat the monkey’s heart as that would be sweeter!The crocodile was upset at first but decided to give in to his wife’s wishes.The next day, he told the monkey that his wife invited the monkey home for dinner.As the crocodile carried the monkey on his back across the river, he told him about his wife’s plan to eat his heart.The monkey, being smart, told the crocodile that he left his heart on the berry tree and needed to get it.The crocodile foolishly took him back to the berry tree. On reaching, the monkey climbed onto the tree.“Who will keep the heart on a tree? You have betrayed my trust. We can never be friends again!” the monkey told his friend.Sad after losing his friend, the crocodile swims back to his wicked wife.

Moral of the story

Choose your friends and the people you trust wisely. Moreover, never betray the trust of someone who trusts you.

THE FIFTH DAY. COMPETITION «LADY’S HAT»

Мета : закріплення лексико-граматичного матеріалу по темам «Clothes», «Appearance», «Seasons», «My friends and me», розвиток усного мовлення в учнів, виховання толерантності, культури поведінки і зовнішнього вигляду, вміння триматись на сцені.

План проведення конкурсу: участь беруть учениці 8 класу (5 дівчат).

Конкурс «Шляпка»

Кожна учасниця конкурсу розповідає про значення свого ім ’я. Дівчинка розповідає про себе, свої уподобання, демонструє свій образ та свою шляпку.

Оцінюється вигляд шляпки, чи підходить вона до образу дівчинки, а також вміння триматися на сцені.

Конкурс «Мої таланти»

Дівчатка демонстують свої таланти, вони можуть співати, танцювати, продемонструвати свої малюнки , колекції або ж кулінарні здібності.

Оцінювається вміння показати свій талант.

Конкурс: «Мої однокласники»

Запрошується перша конкурсантка, рандомно вибирається хтось з однокласників. Ведучі ставлять запитання і конкурсанти відповідають на поставленні запитання письмово. Якщо відповіді співпадають, конкурсантці зараховується 1 бал за кожну правильну відповідь.

Жюрі підводить підсумки.

Потім журі оголошують результат конкурсу, нагороджуються учасниці і присвоюються номінації:

Підведення підсумків

Отже, проведення тижня англійської мови не тільки поглибило знання учнів, але й став джерелом позитивних та яскравих емоцій, мобілізації творчих зусиль і, як наслідок, підвищило мотивацію до вивчення мови та культури англомовних країн.Проведені заходи сприяли формуванню пізнавальних та лінгвістичних інтересів, підвищенню рівня володіння англійською мовою, розвитку креативності. У процесі спілкування учні школи змогли отримати додаткову інформацію про сфери застосування іноземної мови та з користю провели вільний час. При проведенні таких заходів вчитель іноземної мови може надати учням можливість проявити себе у цікавих заходах, спробувати себе у різних захоплюючих ролях у позакласних заходах ,також учнів зможуть виконувати різні доручення. Тематика позакласних заходів може виходити за межі шкільної програми, використовувати новітні технології , які сприятимуть розвитку лінгвістичної та соціокультурної компетенції учнів.
