ВСТУП

Тема: «Тиждень англійської мови як комплексна форма організації та систематизації позакласної роботи у школі»

Мета: вивчити і виділити роль Тижня англійської мови як комплексної форми організації та систематизації позакласної роботи з іноземної мови, необхідної для розвитку і підтримки інтересу до вивчення іноземної мови в школі та творчих здібностей учнів.

Завдання:

- вивчити і виділити роль Тижня англійської мови в школі;

- виділити етапи проведення Тижня англійської мови;

- виділити план проведення Тижня англійської мови;

- зробити висновки.

Принципи: принцип добровільності та масовості; принцип обліку та розвитку індивідуальних здібностей та інтересів учнів; принцип зв'язку позакласної роботи з уроками.

Актуальність: питання заслуговує належної уваги на всіх ступенях навчання починаючи з початкового, закінчуючи старшим, спрямоване на реалізацію завдань комплексного підходу до виховання учнів.

Практична цінність: Тиждень англійської мови, що проводиться в школі, дає дітям можливість на практиці застосувати свої знання, незалежно від їх рівня, і повірити у свої сили у вивченні іноземної мови.

Новизна: вивчення та узагальнення сучасного рівня проблеми, представлення власної точки зору.

Метод дослідження: аналіз першоджерел,метод системного аналізу.

Роль Тижня англійської мови

Тиждень англійської мови в школі за своїм характером є массовою формою, оскільки передбачає участь у ній широкого контингенту учнів. А за своєю структурою є комплексною, оскільки включає комплекс різних за змістом та формою заходів, які відбуваються в певний період часу і спрямовані на реалізацію завдань комплексного підходу до виховання учнів. Тиждень іноземної мови в школі як комплексна форма повинна сприяти цілеспрямованої організації та систематизації всієї позакласної роботи у школі. Тиждень іноземної мови проводять у певний період навчального року за попередньо складеною програмою, яка визначає мету, зміст і форму кожного з компонентів. Тематика заходів у рамках Тижня повинна бути цікавою, пізнавальною, доступною, пов'язаною з навчальним матеріалом і відповідати віковим особливостям учнів, рівню їх мовної підготовки. Тиждень англійської мови, що проводиться в школі, дає дітям можливість на практиці застосувати свої знання, незалежно від їх рівня, і дає можливість повірити у свої сили у вивченні англійської мови.

Ціль проведення Тижня:

- посилити мотивацію до вивчення іноземних мов,

- сприяти практичному володінню мовною діяльністю,

- збільшувати активний мовний запас учнів,

- стимулювати в цілому їх інтелектуальну і мовну активність,

- розширювати загальний кругозір школярів,

- підвищувати їх культурний рівень,

- розвивати творчі здібності учнів усіх паралелей, незалежно від рівня їх знань іноземної мови, пропонуючи їм завдання та заходи посильного рівня.

В рамках Тижня англійської мови проводиться багато різноманітних заходів. Актуальність в проведенні заходу полягає в тому, що тиждень сприяє розширенню і збагаченню придбаного навчального, мовного і мовленнєвого досвіду в курсі оволодіння іноземними мовами.

Створюється позитивна мотивація умов і можливості застосування знань, навичок, що забезпечує стійке позитивне ставлення до навчання. Виробляються такі якості як активність, цілеспрямованість, колективізм, почуття відповідальністі.

У ході підготовки учні розучують під час фонетичної зарядки куплети деяких хорових пісень, знайомляться з лексикою, необхідної для розуміння змісту вечорів, вистав, знайомляться з літературою, необхідної для підготовки до вікторин, олімпіад, конкурсів. Беручи участь у різних конкурсах, літературно-музичних вечорах, конференціях, школярі демонструють своє знання іноземної мови. У процесі проведення тижня використовується пізнавальний, розвиваючий матеріал, різноманітні прийоми, форми, методи. Виробляється відповідальність учнів за добровільно взяття на себе доручення. Масове охоплення учнів різними заходами підвищує інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, з'являється мотивація до практичного володіння різними видами мовленнєвої діяльності, збільшується активний запас учнів, удосконалюється вимова, стимулюється інтелектуальна і мовна активність, що производить до загального підвищення культурного рівня учнів.

Етапи проведення Тижня англійської мови

Процес підготовки і проведення Тижня англійської мови в школі проходить в три етапи.

I етап (підготовчий) починається зі складання програми Тижня.

• З учнями і адміністрацією школи обговорюється характер і зміст заходу, час і місце його проведення.

• Проводиться засідання шкільної методичної комісії вчителів іноземних мов, на якому обговорюється план проведення Тижня. Розподіляються обов'язки серед вчителів з урахуванням підготовки певних заходів.

• Складається програма заходів на всі дні Тижня з точним зазначенням термінів і місця проведення.

• Готується мовний матеріал для конкурсів, олімпіад, естафет та інших заходів.

• У фойє школи оформляється інформаційний куточок.

• Продумується тематичне оформлення кабінетів, коридорів, де проводяться заходи.

• Складається програма проведення ігор.

• Класи випускають стінну газету.

• Обговорюється склад журі, а також питання про нагородження грамотами кращих команд, учасників-переможців та окремих активних учасників.

Від того, як буде проведена підготовча робота, залежить успіх Тижня англійської мови. Безпосередньо підготовку учнів до виступів проводять вчителі іноземної мови, працюючи індивідуально з кожним учнем або з групами учнів. Під час репетицій учні вдосконалюють свою вимову, навички усного мовлення, вчаться поводитися на сцені.

II етап - це проведення Тижня англійської мови.

Обов'язковою умовою проведення Тижня - створення атмосфери святковості, невимушеності. Учні повинні відчувати задоволення і радість від своєї участі у святі. Тиждень починається на лінійці з проведення бесіди «Значення іноземних мов в школі». Учитель оголошує про відкриття Тижня англійської мови у школі і знайомить з планом заходів Тижня.

Перелік зразкових заходів Тижня англійської мови:

-виставка стінних газет;

-конкурс малюнків і творів;

-презентації про країни досліджуваної мови та про великих людей цих країн;

-ігрова естафета;

-гра «Що? Де? Коли?»;

-гра «Своя гра»;

-відкриті уроки;

-день літературного читання;

-вікторіна «Ерудит»;

-вікторіна «Англомовні країни і їх столиці»;

-конкурс на кращий переклад;

-рішення кросвордів;

-зустріч з казками;

-день музики та пісень;

-свято алфавіту;

-прослухання уривків з творів англійських, американських письменників, бесіди про їх життя і творчість;

-день листа другові в іншу країну.

III етап присвячений підсумкам.

Залежно від плану, учні, які посіли призові місця, нагороджуються грамотами та призами або на звітному концерті, або на лінійці. Чергові вчителя випускають інформаційний бюлетень і повідомляють про підсумки Тижня, яких успіхів досягли її учасники, хто з учнів найбільш відзначився. Учні, в свою чергу, на наступному тижні випускають барвисту стінгазету з фотографіями, де розповідають про те, як пройшов Тиждень.

Плануючи предметний Тиждень англійської мови, необхідно, щоб учні школи мали змогу взяти участь у всіх заходах: конкурсі газет, малюнків, презентацій з країнознавства, творчих інсценуваннях для молодших класів і вікторинах.

План проведення Тижня англійської мови.

1 день

Оформлення школи.

Відкриття Тижня на загальношкільної лінійки ( 1-11кл)

Вікторина «Ерудит» (2-11 кл)

2 день

Конкурс знавців англійського алфавиту (1-4 кл)

Брейн-ринг «Україна. Державні символи України» (5-6кл.)

Конкурс знавців прислів'я, приказок, загадок, скоромовок (7-8кл.)

3 день

Конкурс проектних робіт «Сімейні традиції» (5-7кл.)

Конкурс солістів англійських пісень (8-11кл.)

4 день

Конкурс знавців англійської мови (6-8кл.)

Вікторина «Великобританія» ( 9-11 кл)

Випуск стінгазет (5-11 кл)

5 день

Театральна постановка «Червона шапочка» (11кл.)

Підбиття підсумків. Нагородження переможців.

Вікторина «Ерудит» - питання до вікторини спрямовані на виявлення самого ерудованого і складені української мовою, т. к. вона розрахована на учнів 2-11 класів. Питання розміщуються на інформаційний стенд, а також у кабінеті англійської мови. Відповіді вікторини учні опускають у спеціальну урну.

Випуск стінгазет (5-11кл.) є однією з форм позакласної роботи з іноземної мови. Змістовна, естетично оформлена стінгазета підвищує інтерес учнів до предмета. При певної спрямованості стінгазета сприяє вирішенню завдань, виховує навчання. Учитель ставить перед школярами конкретне завдання і домагається її реалізації за допомогою тих мовних засобів, якими вони володіють. Він допомагає скласти план змісту та оформлення номера, розподілити ролі учнів у підготовці матеріалів, підібрати лексику, контролює орфографічну і граматичну правильність статей і заміток, логіку їх розташування, можливі варіанти художнього оформлення.

Зміст класних стінгазет більш тісно пов'язан з досліджуваними за навчальною програмою темами. Окремі випуски містять інформацію про життя дітей за кордоном, звичаї, традиції і свята країни досліджуваної мови. У них передбачена «Цікава сторінка», де поміщаються ребуси, кросворди, загадки, короткі смішні історії, гумористичні малюнки. Враховуючи ту обставину, що читаючи стінгазету не має можливості користуватися словником, необхідно в кінці кожної статті. Нотатки або поміщеної в стінгазеті розповіді дати список ключових слів і стійких словосполучень та їх переклади на українську мову. У підготовці кожного номера необхідно прагнути зацікавити учнів майбутньою роботою, допомогти побачити її перспективу, проявити вигадку, фантазію і самостійність, передбачити можливі варіанти стінгазет.

Конкурс знавців англійської мови «The world is in children's hands» може проходити в 6-8 класів. Мета: продовжити формування комунікативної компетенції учнів середньої школи.

Завдання: вдосконалення навичок аудіювання, говоріння, граматичних навичок, підвищення мотивації до вивчення англійської мови, розширення кругозору учнів; формування таких якостей особистості, як почуття толерантності до культури англомовних країн, до товаришів, вміння працювати в команді, слухати, аналізувати і приймати думку іншої людини; розвиток пізнавальних здібностей, уваги пам'яті.

Проведення конкурсу включає два етапи: підготовчий і безпосередньо конкурс.

Підготовчий етап - зробити оголошення про проведення конкурс, створити змішані команди, що складаються з учнів 6 - 8 класів (10 осіб), роздати завдання для команд: приготувати візитну картку «Meeting Each Other» (назва, девіз, емблема); вивчити напам'ять вірш англійською мовою «Reciting English Poems»; повторити англійські прислів'я та приказки - конкурс «English Proverbs»; повторити матеріал з країнознавства «What do You Know about Britain?»; приготувати міні проект у формі плаката на тему «The World Is in Children's Hands» та його захист;

Основний етап - ігрова ідея - допомогти песимістам та оптимістам вирішити спір: чи можуть діти врятувати світ. Виконання завдань оцінює журі, що складаються з вчителів англійської мови. Оцінюється творчий підхід, оригінальність, якість виконання. Завдання журі також визначити переможця за наступними номінаціями: 1) «Найоригінальніша візитна картка»; 2) «Знавці»; 3) «Знавці британської мудрості»; 4) «Юні читці»; 5) «Світ в руках дітей». Наприкінці конкурсу кожен учень отримує сертифікат учасника конкурсу. Команди отримують дипломи про перемогу в номінаціях.

Вікторина "Великобританія" в якою беруть участь учні 9-11 класів.

Конкурс солістів англійських пісень в 8-11кл.- масовий захід, на якому школярі показують талант у виконанні пісень «Happy New Year», «We Wish You a Merry Christmas», «Jingle Bells», «Let it Snow».

Театральні постановки готуються протягом року вчителями англійської мови. Тематика театральних інсценівок - найрізноманітніша. Школярі показують акторську майстерність у театральних постановках. Залежно від класу та рівня підготовки в школі ставляться такі казки, як «Ріпка», «Червона Шапочка», «Вовк і семеро козенят», «Попелюшка», «Теремок».

ВИСНОВКИ

Тижні англійської мови досягають високих результатів. Результативність їх проведення в системі можна охарактеризувати наявністю таких характеристик, як:

• Інформативність і змістовність, які сприяли реалізації практичних та загальноосвітніх цілей з позакласної роботи;

• Комунікативна спрямованість: всі види позакласної роботи забезпечували користування англійською мовою як засобом отримання і передачі інформації в типових природних ситуаціях спілкування;

• Ситуативність: переважна більшість видів позакласної роботи включало «набір ситуацій», які були предметним фоном і стимулом до цілеспрямованим мовним поступкам;

• Орієнтація завдань на підвищення мовної активності учнів;

• Емоційність форм і способів реалізації, що сприяє підвищенню інтересу учнів до іншомовної діяльності.

Досвід проведення Тижня англійської мови в школі показує, що загальна невимушена психологічно підготовлена атмосфера в школі сприяє прояву індивідуальних можливостей всіх дітей з різними рівнями навчання. Заходи Тижня сприяють розширенню і збагаченню придбаного навчального, мовного і мовленнєвого досвіду , підвищують престиж вивчення іноземної мови. При відборі мовного матеріалу зміцнюються між предметні зв'язки, поглиблюються країнознавчі знання. Діти більше дізнаються про традиції, звичаї, мораль, культуру, які відображені в матеріалі олімпіад, вікторин, в п'єсах, піснях, віршах, іграх. Всі заходи засновані на країнознавчих матеріалах. При проведенні Тижня застосовуються аудіовізуальні засоби навчання, наочність, які є зразком, еталоном виконавської майстерності, вимови, так як записані носіями мови.
