Materials: PB, flashcards.

Outcomes: by the end of the lessons Ps will be able to read ch, use structures “I like… I don’t like…” and write about what they like and what they don’t like.

1. Warming up

Revise a song (Ex. 3, p. 88)

2. Presentation

Explain Ps how letter combination ch is read.

3. Practice

Ex. 1, p. 89 – listen and read.

Explain to Ps that they are going to listen to the audio and read.

Ch chicken chips, cherry, chair, teacher, cheese, lunch, sandwich

Ex. 2, p. 89 – read.

Say Ps that they are going to read words.

Exercise

Say Ps that they are going to watch the video and do the exercise.

Explain to Ps that they should listen and read text.

I’m hungry. I am looking at the menu. I like chicken and rice. I like carrots, too. I don’t like fish or eggs. I like cheesecakes. I like hot chocolate but I don’t like milk.

I like fish and eggs. I don’t like carrots. I like ice-cream but I don’t like cheese cakes. I like lemonade but I don’t like hot chocolate.
