Тема. Favorite Day

Тип уроку: 

Мета: створити умови для  активізації  лексичних  одиниць з тем « Days of the Week. Ordinal Numbers. Free Time» і для удосконалення  навичок читання, аудіювання, усного мовлення з використанням методів інтерактивного навчання; розвивати уміння вести бесіду у зв'язку з ситуацією, читати тексти з розумінням основного змісту, систематизувати вивчений матеріал;

спонукати до розвитку логічного та образного мислення учнів;

сприяти формуванню  предметних компетентностей з іноземної мови.

Обладнання:  презентація із завданнями: warming up, vocabulary, oral practice, text for listening and reading, reflexing.

Перебіг уроку:

І. Орієнтація, мотивація навчальної діяльності.

1. Організаційний момент.

Т:  Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see and hear you. Welcome to English lesson! How are you today? (Slide 1)

- Ps: Fine, thanks.

2. Визначення теми та оголошення мети уроку.

T: Guess the topic of the lesson with the help of the pictures (slide 2) : The bird can fly. The favorite lesson is Art. You can play volleyball. I like oranges. This color is red. It’s chocolate ice-cream. We can travel by train. We can speak English.         Vlad has got a dog. I can have red apples. She is good at doing yoga. (Favorite Day)

Today we are going to speak about  your favorite days and activities. Also you will do a lot of interesting tasks.  At the end you will be able to talk about your favorite days and activities.

2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу. Warming up.

Questions to students (slide 3):
T: What is your favorite day? What day of the week is … ? Is it a weekday or weekend?

ІІ. Цілереалізація.

1.Фонетична розминка. What can you do on your favorite day? (Slide 4)

T: I play football. - Ps: I play football. (Повторюють ті учні, які дійсно це роблять у свій улюблений день).

2. Практика у використанні лексики. Гра «Guessing». (Діти загадують та відгадують, чим люблять займатися однокласники у свій улюблений день).

Ps: Do you play computer games?

3. Читання та аудіювання (slide 5): читання тексту, виконання завдання Yes/No на слух.

Tom’s Favorite Day

Hello, I am Tom. I am 11. I go to school five days a week: on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

My favorite days are Friday and Saturday. Friday is a week day and the fifth day of the week. On Friday I have got Maths, English, Art and PE. I like PE and Art. In PE lessons I jump, run and play sport. I am good at doing Sport. In Art I paint. I am crazy about painting portraits.

Saturday is the sixth day of the week. It is on the weekend. I do not go to school. In the morning I listen to music. After lunch I help my dad. In the evening I watch TV and play computer games.

T: 1. Nick is a pupil.  2. He does not go to school on Saturdays and Sundays.  3. He likes 3 days. 4. On Friday Nick has 4 lessons. 5. His favourite lessons are PE and IT. 6. In PE he paints. 7. On Saturday morning Nick listens to music. 8. Sometimes he plays football with father.

4. Фізкультпауза.

T: Now, it’s time to have a rest. Let’s do actіоns.

Show in mimics, you are listening to music (singing, playing computer games, dancing …)

5. Читання тексту з випущеними словами по пам’яті (slide 6).

6. Говоріння. Розповідь про свій улюблений день за допомогою тезисних речень (slide 7).

T: Your hometask is to write about your favorite day.

T: Did you like your work at the lesson? Did you understand everything? Show your mark with the help of smiles (slide 8).
