Тема уроку.    Відвідування зоопарку. Вищий і найвищий ступені 

                           порівняння прикметників.

Мета уроку: створити умови для ефективного вивчення матеріалу(вищий та

               найвищий ступені порівняння прикметників);

                        розширити та збагатити знання учнів по темі;

                       сприяти повторенню та активізації в усному мовленні 

              лексичних одиниць та  граматичних структур для ведення                       

                       бесіди про тварин;

                       розвивати граматичні навички і навички усного мовлення через   

             інтерактивні методи (робота в парах)

                       виховувати в учнів любов до природи, бережливе ставлення до 

                       тварин.

Технічні засоби навчання:  ноутбук, інтерактивна DVD дошка, диск з            відеозаписом ”Zoo”, СD диск New Grammar Time3  з програмним забезпеченням граматичного матеріалу Comparative and superlative of short adjectives; магнітофон, аудіокасета з записом “The New Forest”,  диск зі слайдами до уроку.

Today we have unusual lesson. We have guests at our lesson. So, let’s start !

The topic of our lesson is “ A visit to the New Forest”. By the end of the lesson we’ll develop  and inrich our knowledges  about animals. We’ll study  “Comperative and superlative  of short adjectives”. And will be able to compare different things, people and animals.

There are lots of amazing animals:they can run,they can fly, they can swim, they can climb the trees.

I advise you to watch the video about animals. Watch it and answer the question . What animals is this video about?     (video slide 2)

The adjective is the word that gives you information  about an object  or a person.When there are two  people or two things we use comparative adjectives.   (slide7)

When there are more than two  people or more than two things we use superlative adjectives.     (slide8)

Look at these adjectives (slide9) when does the final consonant double?

      ( we double the final  consonant when the adjectives end in vowel +consonant)
