Урок має на меті створення паперового "лептопу" з кольоровими матеріалами до кожного завдання, кожне завдання супрводжується малюнками страв, інгредієнтів .

        ТЕМА УРОКУ: Ukrainian cuisine.

МЕТА:

Навчальна:

  • збагачувати словниковий запас учнів;
  •    узагальнити та систематизувати знання учнів про традиційну       

                       українську кухню, ознайомити з історією її розвитку;

  • вдосконалювати навички читання й усного мовлення;
  • формувати навички вимови;  

Розвиваюча:

  • розвивати культуру спілкування й мовленнєву реакцію учнів;
  • сприяти розвитку творчих здібностей учнів, формуванню гігієнічних вмінь та навичок;
  • вміти здобувати інформацію з текстів, висловлювати власні думки і припущення;
  • розвивати в учнів увагу, пам'ять, кмітливість та мовну здогадку;
  • розширити знання учнів про здорове харчування;

Виховна:

  • виховувати любов до української національної культури, до народної творчості;
  • виховувати ввічливе ставлення один до одного, вміння толерантно співпрацювати в парах та тимчасових групах.

Тип уроку: урок застосування знань, умінь та навичок.

  • ноутбук з проектором та мультимедійною дошкою;

ІІ. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Т: I want to start our lesson from introducing its theme. The theme of our today’s lesson is " Fish is water, a berry is grass, and bread is head for every of us.". I think you have guessed that the topic of our today's lesson is " Ukrainian cuisine ". By the end of the lesson you should be able:

• to rich your knowledge about Ukrainian healthy food;
• to read and understand the gist and details of today’s topic;
• to participate in common conversational exchanges about the topic of today's lesson.

We also have a new technology – a modern laptop, we use it for doing tasks.

There are some boxes with  ingredients on my desk. We must get them and make Ukrainian dishes from them. But to get these ingredients you have to do a lot of tasks. Are you ready? Let’s go!

2.Робота з текстом «Ukrainian cuisine».

T: Ukrainian food is one of the richest national cuisines. Its dishes are well known far away from Ukraine. And the Ukrainian recipes of the foods are very popular nowadays. Ukrainian cuisine has dozens thousands of food recipes, which are characterized by simplicity of cooking and high taste qualities. (слова супроводжуються відео).

You have a text «Ukrainian cuisine» without some words. Fill in the words from a table, read and translate.

Ukrainian cuisine has a long history and is rather popular not only in Ukraine but also in other countries.

There are many tasty dishes in Ukrainian cuisine. One of the most popular dishes is borshch. Borshch is a vegetable soup made out of beets, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, dill. There are about 30 varieties of Ukrainian borshch soup and the dish often includes meat. . Borshch traditionally served with pampushky (small baked breads with garlic and dill).

Salo is a national product. It is salted pork fat with or without garlic or pepper.

Vinigret is a salad with cooked  beets, sauerkraut, cooked and chopped potatoes, onions, and carrots, sometimes pickles mixed with some vegetable oil and salt.

Breads and wheat products are very important to Ukrainian cuisine. Paska is a traditional rich Easter bread.

Uzvar is traditional compote made of dried fruit, mainly apples, pears.

BEST-KNOWN UKRAINIAN DISHES:

  • Salo  - salted pork fat
  • Borshch  - cabbage and beets  soup
  • Pampushky - small baked breads with garlic and dill
  • Holubtsi  - cabbage rolls
  • Varenyky - large stuffed dumplings, can be stuffed with potatoes, cottage cheese, meat, berries.
  • Nalysnyky  - very thin pancakes
  • Syrnyky  - fried cheese pancakes, usually served with sour cream, honey, or jam.
  • T: Well done. So, you have another  ingredients for you dish!
    1. Аудіювання.

 

Т: Some foods have a lot of proteins, vitamins and fibre. These foods are healthy and you should eat a lot of them. Other foods have a lot of sugar and fat. You shouldn’t eat to much of them. Eat more fruit and vegetables. They have a lot of vitamins, minerals and fibre. Fruit have all the sugar your body needs. Too much salt is as bad for your health as too much sugar. We don’t need a lot of fat, so choose low-fat products if possible. Another important piece of advice is to eat regularly and drink five or six glasses of water every day. Enjoy your meals!

 

T: Look at the list of products in our presentation and write them down into two columns - Healthy food and Unhealthy food. Explain why do you think so.

 

Chocolate, eggs, sweets, nuts, cakes, fruit, chips, ice-cream, vegetables, milk, hamburger, fish, porridge, cola.

 

P1: Chocolate, sweets, ice-cream  are unhealthy food because  it contains  a lots of sugar .And much sugar is  bad for  our health.

P2: Eggs, nuts, milk are healthy food because they have proteins and vitamins and give us a lot of energy.

P3: Fruit  and vegetables  are healthy food  because they contain  a lot of vitamins. They are good for our health.

P4: Chips and hamburger are unhealthy food because they are fast food and high-fat products.

P5: Porridge is a healthy food because it contains vitamin B1.

P6: Fish is healthy food because it contains  fat that is useful for us.

P7: Cola is unhealthy food because it have a lot of sugar and spoils our teeth.

 

T: You must answer my questions. If you agree – clap your hands, disagree – stamp your feet. Ready?

  1. Is it useful to eat  fast food?  
  2. Should you eat regularly and drink five or six glasses of water every day?
  3. Should you eat fresh foods every day?
  4. Is it good to eat very quickly?
  5. Should we eat many sweets and cakes?
  6. Hamburgers and chips are unhealthy food, aren’t they?
  7. Should we go in for sport to be healthy?

T: Perfect! So, you have all ingredients of your dishes, try to guess these dishes.

VІ. Заключна частина уроку

  1. 1.Підведення підсумків уроку.

         Borshch.

        Recipe:

  • To boil the meat in water with salt.
  • To peel potatoes, beets, onions, carrots.
  • To wash them all.
  • To cut beets, cabbage.
  • To chop onions.
  • To slice potatoes.
  • To grate carrots.
  • To stew beets with oil and broth, to add tomatoes.
  • To fry onions, carrots with oil.
  • To add potatoes to broth, cook 15 minutes.
  • To add cabbage and cook 15 minutes.
  • To add all another vegetables. Cook for another 15 minutes.
  • Add chopped garlic with fat and bring to a boil. Then let stand another 20 minutes.

    Holubtsi.

Recipe:

  • To put cabbage into boiling water for 3 minutes.
  • To prepare leaves of cabbage.
  • To boil rice.
  • To make minced meat .
  • To add rice, salt, pepper.
  • To put a small ball of minced meat on a leaf of cabbage
  • To make a roll.
  • To peel onions, carrots.
  • To wash them.
  • To chop them.
  • To fry onions with carrots.
  • To add tomato pasta.
  • To add source to cabbage rolls.
  • To stew it during 45 minutes.

Recipe:

  • It is necessary to boil beets, carrots and potatoes, beans.
  • To peel  beets, carrots and potatoes,onions.
  • To chop beets,carrots, potatoes, onions, pickels.
  • To mix them all.
  • To add beans, sauerkraut, salt, vegetable oil.
  • To mix.
