Тема. Ми – з України. Наші друзі у світі

Мета: практикувати вживання вивчених ЛО (country,capital, world)  у власних висловлюваннях, закріпити знання учнів про деякі країни світу; розвивати усне мовлення та творчі здібності учнів, розвивати пам'ять,мовну здогадку; виховувати патріотизм,любов до рідного краю та рідної землі.

Обладнання: презентація, проекти про країни світу,зображення України, прапори країн світу, літери та сердечка для постеру.

We’re going to talk about Ukraine and other countries of the world, make a mind trip to different corners of the world. Our theme is “We are from Ukraine. Our friends in the world”.

Many countries show the real support to us and provide humanitarian and financial aid.  Ukrainians are deeply thankful for the wave of support for our country from around the world. The whole world is demonstrating political solidarity, providing military equipment, humanitarian aid and imposing sanctions in an effort to limit Russia’s ability to finance and conduct its brutal war of aggression against the people of Ukraine. Regular people in dozens of cities around the globe came out in protests and demonstrations, backing Ukraine in its struggle for peace.

We want to say “Thank you” to all our good neighbour friend countries. We’ll make a picture “Thank you for support”.

If you like a change, travelling is the best way to be in different  places and meet different people. When you travel, you can see and learn lots of new things.

First, you must arrange your trip. There are many travel agencies which can help you to choose the place and kind of transport.

Interesting fact-Ukraine participated in and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy, with the song "Stefania" performed by the group Kalush Orchestra and written by the group's members Ihor Didenchuk, Oleh Psiuk, Tymofii Muzychuk and Vitalii Duzhyk, along with Ivan Klymenko.

Ukrainians are brave people and we can say “Thank you Ukrainians for your bravery”. (Pupils stick heart to the poster)

Dozens of Ukrainian brands and companies join the #BRAVEUKRAINE movement. Meanwhile, billboards "Be brave like Ukraine" are seen on the streets in Canada, Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Britain, Spain, the US and other countries.

This is the U.K.

The capital of the U.K. is London.

The British flag is red, blue and white.

People speak English in the U.K.

-Yes, I do. But I never drink tea with milk.

Interesting fact - British people are the great tealovers.

People from around the world often wonder why the English drink milk with their tea. The answer is that in the 17th and 18th centuries the china cups tea was served in were so delicate they would crack from the heat of the tea. Milk was added to cool the liquid and stop the cups from cracking. This is why, even today, many English people add milk to their cups BEFORE adding the tea!

Drinking tea is entrenched in the British way of life. From early morning to late at night, the kettle is on for a brew in many households across the country. Not surprisingly, Britain is one of the world’s biggest tea-drinking nations alongside Turkey, Ireland and China.

The UK is already the second largest military donor to Ukraine. So we want to say “Thank you” (stick the hearts to the poster)

This is Poland.

The capital of Poland is Warsaw.

The Polish flag is white and red.

People speak Polish in Poland.

-Yes, I do. I like dancing. I watch a film about Polish national dance.

-What is it called?

-Krakowiak.

 Interesting fact -Krakowiak is a Polish dance from the region of Kraków, the old capital of Poland.

Poland has shown strong solidarity with Ukraine. Over 6 million Ukrainian refugees have crossed the Polish border looking for safety

Ukraine is extremely thankful to its partner. To signal this and reciprocate a similar law approved by Warsaw, the Ukrainian parliament adopted a law on the special status of Poles in Ukraine in July 2022, establishing legal and social guarantees for Polish citizens residing in Ukraine.

Interesting fact – German has the best composers. Germany is known as the country of poets and thinkers.

Look at our poster. There are many countries which stand with Ukraine.

Ukrainians really appreciate everything they’ve done. Thank you for all your kind words during this difficult time. We express our heartfelt gratefulness to  our defenders for their incredible heroism and courage.
