The Little Cat

       Tom is a little cat. He is grey and white. Tom lives in a small house with his owner, Anna. Anna loves Tom very much. Every morning, Tom sits by the window and looks at the birds. He likes to watch them fly.

       One day, Tom sees a red ball under the table. He runs to it and starts to play. The ball rolls under the chair. Tom tries to reach it with his paw. "Meow!" he says, but the ball does not move.

Anna hears Tom and comes to help. She picks up the ball and gives it to Tom. "Here you go, Tom," she says. Tom is happy and plays with the ball again.

       At the end of the day, Tom feels tired. He jumps on his soft bed and falls asleep. Anna smiles and says, "Good night, Tom."
