Mass media plays an important role in our everyday lives. People use different sources to get information: newspapers, radio, television and the Internet. Teenagers usually spend a lot of time online. They watch videos, use social media and read online articles. Many adults still prefer newspapers because they can read them on the way to work or during breakfast. Television remains popular too, especially news programmes and documentaries. The Internet has become the most popular type of mass media because it is fast and available everywhere.

Mass media helps people stay informed about everything that happens in the world. Today, the most common types of mass media are television, newspapers, radio and the Internet. Young people prefer using the Internet because they can read the news, watch films, listen to music and communicate with friends online. Older people often watch TV because it is easy and comfortable for them. Newspapers are still read by many people, especially those who like printed information. Radio is also useful, especially for drivers who listen to news and music while travelling. All types of mass media help people learn new things and stay connected with society.

Засоби масової інформації відіграють важливу роль у нашому повсякденному житті. Люди використовують різні джерела для отримання інформації: газети, радіо, телебачення та Інтернет. Підлітки зазвичай проводять багато часу в Інтернеті. Вони дивляться відео, користуються соціальними мережами та читають онлайн-статті. Багато дорослих досі надають перевагу газетам, оскільки можуть читати їх дорогою на роботу або під час сніданку. Люди похилого віку часто дивляться телевізор, бо це для них легко та зручно. Газети досі читають багато людей, особливо ті, хто любить друковану інформацію.
