Last week, I saw a poster asking for people to help plant trees in Herston Park. The mayor should           this a long time ago, but better late than never.

I arranged           with my best friend Kelly. 

But on that day, she rang me and told me she was coming           with something, so I had to go alone.

I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t know anyone there, but luckily loads of students from my school           up.

... so we decided           up as much rubbish as we could, too. 

The day was really successful and it gave us the opportunity to come into           with nature.

The organisers are thinking of           similar events in other parks in the city, and I’m definitely participating.
