The Millennium Bridge (9)

The famous Millinnium Bridge in London.... by thousands of people every day.

This bridge ... by the famous British architect, Sir Morman Foster.

It ... by Queen Elizabeth II on 9 May 2000.

However, on that day members of the public ... to use the bridge. They could cross the bridge only the next day.

On the 10th of June it ... by over 90,000 people

But while crossing the bridge the people noticed that it was moving from side to side. It was a serious problem and soon the bridge...for almost two years.

When the bridge ... , it was reopened again. It was on 2 February 2002

Today this wonderful bridge ... the River Thames

It is one of the main sights of London and it ... by thousands of Londoners and tourists every day.

In the film Harrry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, this bridge ... . But luckily it's just a movie.
