On Sunday  Dan and Kate were on the farm. The day was warm and pleasant. There was a lot of sunshine and no rain. The children were happy to see their grandparents who live on the farm.

Now Dan and Kate are at home but they often talk about the farm.

Dan: Grandfather looks older now.

Kate: Yes, he does. But I think he is the best grandad of all.

Dan: And granny is wonderful too. Her chocolate cake was very tasty.

Kate: Yes, I’d like to go to the farm again and see the cows and the horses.

Dan: I’d like to ride a horse. Grandad said I can go do it when I come to the farm again.

Kate: And I like to feed the chickens. They are cute, cuter than little ducks.

Dan: I think the farm is better than home.

                         The farm was better than home for Dan.    

                         The day was fine.

                         Kate liked to go to the farm.

                         Dan didn’t like to ride a horse.

                         Dan and Kate didn’t go to the farm on Sunday.

                         The granny’s pancakes were very tasty.
