Animal babies are very cute and fun to learn about. Some animal babies are born with fur, while others have feathers or scales. They are all very different, but they all need their parents to take care of them when they are born.

For example, baby cats are called kittens. They are born with closed eyes and cannot see or hear for the first few weeks of their lives. They rely on their mother's milk for food and grow quickly. Baby dogs are called puppies. They are also born with closed eyes, but they can hear and smell from the very beginning. They need their mother's milk for food, but they also learn to eat solid food when they are a few weeks old.

Baby birds are born in nests and need their parents to feed them until they can fly. Baby turtles are born on land or in water and have to find their way to the ocean on their own. Baby fish hatch from eggs and swim in schools for safety.

All animal babies are important and valuable members of their species. They grow up to be strong and healthy adults, and they help to keep our planet beautiful and diverse.
