Тема / Topic: Навколо світу. Питальні речення у минулому неозначеному часі. / Around the world. Questions and answers with past simple.

Тип уроку/ Type of the lesson: комбінований / combined lesson

Мета / Aim: 

Практична:

• активізувати знання лексики попередніх уроків (підтеми: «Погода», «Країни»);
• вчити учнів розуміти незнайому лексику  на основі контексту:Where are you from?/ I am from…(Ukraine);
• активізувати  додатковий  лексичним матеріал: travel by train/ plane/ bus/ship;
• ознайомити учнів з  новим граматичним матеріалом, практикувати у вживанні: питальні речення в минулому неозначеному часі та відповіді на них ;
• тренувати учнів у писемному мовленні;
• формувати навички діалогічного мовлення з опорою на запропоновані питання;
• вчити учнів розповідати про свої останні канікули з опорою на логіко- синтаксичну схему.

Розвиваюча:

•  розвивати навички спілкування ;
• розвивати  навички аудіювання,  читання та письма;
•  розвивати фонематичний слух, увагу, пам’ять.

Освітня:

• поглиблювати знання учнів з теми;

• збагачувати словниковий запас учнів.

Виховна:

• виховувати  культуру спілкування ;
• прищеплювати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Форми і методи  роботи: фронтальна, парна, групова робота , рольова гра.

Очікувані результати:

• учні знають назви країн, називають транспорт для подорожі;
•  складають діалоги на запропоновану тему за опорою;
•  описують свої останні канікули з опорою на логіко- синтаксичну схему.

Обладнання: ноутбук, інтерактивна дошка,  презентація, відеозапис “Where are you from? “ , аудіозапис, флешкартки, підручник «Quick minds 4» , робочий зошит до нього.

1.             Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Організаційний момент. Привітання. 

T: – Good morning, dear friends!  P: – Good morning, teacher!

T: – I`m glad to see you!  P: – We are glad to see you, too!

T: - How are you?

 P: – We are fine! / We are super! / We are great!

T: What is the weather like today? Is it rainy? ( sunny / snowy / windy/ sunny / foggy)

  T:  Listen and repeat the song “Where are you from?” (Part 1. Countries song). Answer the question: Where are you from?

-          Where are you from?  -I am from Italy. Italy. Italy. I am from Italy.

-          Now, it’s your turn: where are you from? - I am from Ukraine.

T. – Today we’ll continue speaking on the topic “Around the world”. We’ve already learnt the names of the countries. Now we’ll speak about different means of transport. Moreover, we’ll learn some grammar material: Questions and answers with past simple.

II. Основна частина уроку.

1. Перевірка домашнього завдання: ex. 1, p. 46 AB

T: Now, open your Activity books on page 46. Let’s check your homework. At home you sang a song “Suzie went on holiday…” and did exercise. 1, p.46.

Remember the song. Read and write true or false.

1.      Susie went to Spain. /True.
2.      She went by train. /True.

3.      Paula went by ship. / False.
4.      Danny went to Mexico. / True.
5.      He went by plane. / False.

6.      Ben and Billy went by bus. / True.

T: So, we found out from this song that people usually travel by train, by plane, by ship and by bus.

Let’ s relax a little bit and remember all these words in our physical exercises.

We’ll do this exercise in groups. One of the pupils will be the reporter. He’ll ask the rest of the pupils about their last holidays. His questions will start with the question words:

Where did you go on your last holidays?      I went to Kyiv/ Lviv/ London.

Who did you go with?                                    I went with my parents/ friends.

How did you get there?                                  We got there by train/bus/ plane/ship.

How long did you stay there?                         We stayed there for a week/two days.

1) do ex.4, p.47 PB: write about your last holiday (4 sentences) (напишіть про свої останні канікули, використовуючи питання впр.3 с.47, як опору) ;
