Мета:

Навчальна: активізувати вивчену лексику з теми в діалогічному та монологічному мовленні; вчити дітей застосовувати отримані знання у житті.

Розвивальна: розвивати здібності самостійно планувати мовленнєві дії із застосуванням вивченого матеріалу; сприяти розвитку уяви, емоційної сфери, мислення та мовлення учнів; сприяти їх пізнавальній активності в процесі формування нових умінь та навичок.

Виховна: виховувати повагу до культури англомовного народу; виховувати культуру спілкування та пізнавальний інтерес до вивчення англійської мови: формувати країнознавчу мовну компетентність учнів.

Хід уроку

1. Організаційний момент

1. Привітання

Good morning, children! Today we have an unusual lesson.

You can see guests at our lesson today. Turn around and say «Good morning to them».

Sit down. You can see three smiles on your desks. Choose one and show me your mood. For ex.: I’m wonderful today. And you?

2. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.

It is spring now. Look through the window and tell about the weather.

• What is the weather like today?
• What day is it today?
• Do you like to go for a walk in spring?
• What do you like to do?
• What is you hobby?
• Do you like…? Can you…?

3. Оголошення теми та мети уроку.

People say «Active life and the most interesting hobbies make you feel the happiest». Look at these pictures and try to gues the topic of our lesson.

You are right. Today we are going to speak about our free times and hobbies.

The motto of our lesson is:

To see, to hear, to speak and play

And everything will be ok.

2. Основна частина.

1. Активізація раніше вивченого лексичного матеріалу.

Let’s apeak about people’s hobbies and their favourite activities. Listen to the sentences and complete them:

• Jane has got a new balet shoes, she likes dancing.
• I’ve got a microfone. I can sing.
• My friend bought lots of pencils and paintings, because she will paint a wonderful picture. She likes painting.
• Kim’s father has got a lot of coins and badges because he likes to collect things.
• Kelly’s mum is fond of cooking. Her favourite dish is a fish. That’s why Kelly likes fishing.
• There are lots of games at my home: chess, monopoly, uno, because we like board games.
• Every year we visit a new country. Our hobby is travelling.
• I like to do this sport in the river, sea, lake and a swimming pool. My hobby is swimming.
• There are a lot of comics, books and magazines in my room. I’m fond of reading.

2. Читання

You know people can read or listen information from different resourses: magazines, newspapers, TV, radio and from the internet.

I prefer to listen to the radio and to read interesting articles from Facebook.

 Today I want you to read an interesting story about Kate and her family. They have got lots of hobbies and spend their free time travelling together.

1. First I read it and you listen to me. Then find 4 places of interest in London below the text and tick places which they visited and cross 1, which they didn’t visit.
2. Now it’s your turn to read this story. Let’s do it together and then be ready to answer some questions.

Kate is from Germany and they went to London on a plane. Now stand up, let’s have a rest and sing a song about different kind of travelling.

4. Аудіювання

Kate went to London. I’d like to visit Switzerland. What country do you want to visit?

1. Look at this flag. What country is it?

Kelly, Nuria and Ismail are going to tell you about their favourite hobbies in their countries. Listen to their stories and guess the country where they are from.

2. Let’s work in small groups. There are 3 parts in this story. Each group gets 1 part.

Masha, Serafim and Nazar take you headphones.  You are going to listen to your part of the story and tell other students in your group answer for this question:

What hobbies have people got in their countries?

3. Let’s play a game «Like or dislike». Read these sentences. If they are true accourding to the text then show me like and if they are false show me dislike. Let’s try!

Now you know what people do in Germany, Creat Britain, Egypt and Spain.

Tell us please what you like to do in your free time.

Who likes to watch TV? Who wants to tell us about your favourite film?

6. Діалогічне мовлення

People who likes to watch films or cartoons Raise your hand if you like to go to the cimena.

Speak with you classmate about your last visit to the cinema.

7. Письмо

Now I see you like to watch film. It was interesting to know about new films and I hope I will watch some of them when I’ll have free time.

And I want you to meet one girl who likes to watch cartoons most of all.

Open your books at page 76. Look at the exercise 2. Let’s read this short text and write the missing words. Are there any unknown words here?
