1. The text is devoted to one of the oldest educational establishments in Ukraine.

2. The Kyiv Mohyla Academy was founded as a school at the beginning of the 11th century.

3. Among the founders of the school there were famous scientists and politicians.

4. Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyiwanted much of his wealth to be left to the school.

5. The school was built on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro River.

6. Metropolitan Petro Mohyla was the founder of Kyiv Lavra School.

7. Kyiv Collegium is supposed to be the first university in Central Europe.

8. The University became the Academy at the end of the 20th century.

9. The Academy got the name of Petro Sahaidachnyi to honour his memory.

10. The Kyiv Mohyla National Academy is a well-known educational establishment both in Ukraine and abroad.
