8th form "Literary Discussion Club" / Reading p. 153 - 155

1. Children have gathered at the Literary Discussion Club to discuss new books by famous Ukrainian writers.

2. The Literary Discussion Club was organized in their school some years ago.

3. Most children prefer adventure and fantasy books.

4. Vasyl knows a lot of biographical facts of his favourite English writer.

5. It's clear from the discussion that the children can't find any books by Ukrainian writers like the ones about Harry Potter.

6. The children are fond of not only modern writers, but also the ones who lived and wrote in the 20th century.

7. The Literary Discussion Club organizes its meetings twice a month.

8. The children's Literature teacher encourages them to read books written by different writers.

9. Some of the children mention the traditions of Ukrainian and Slav folklore in their discussion.

10. The children give each other some pieces of advice as for reading.
