How to stay healthy

       It is important to take care of our body so we can feel strong and full of energy. To stay healthy, we need to eat good food, exercise, sleep well, and keep clean.

       Eating the right food helps our body work well. We need to eat different types of food every day. Fruits and vegetables give us vitamins that help our skin, hair, and immune system. Protein from meat, fish, eggs, and beans helps our muscles grow. Bread, rice, and pasta give us energy. Milk, cheese, and yogurt make our bones strong. Drinking water is also very important. We should drink about 6-8 glasses of water every day. It helps our body stay fresh and active. We should not eat too much fast food, candy, or soda. They have too much sugar and fat, which can make us feel tired and unhealthy.

       Exercise helps keep our body strong. When we run, swim, or play sports, we make our heart and muscles stronger. Even walking or playing outside is good for our health. Doctors say we should move our body for at least 30 minutes every day. Exercise also makes us feel happy because our brain produces special chemicals that improve our mood.

       Sleep is very important for our health. When we sleep, our body rests and grows. If we don’t sleep enough, we feel tired and cannot focus well. Children and teenagers need about 9-10 hours of sleep each night. To sleep well, it is good to go to bed at the same time every night and not use a phone or computer before sleeping.

       We must also keep our body clean to stay healthy. Brushing our teeth, washing our hands, and taking a shower help to stop germs and keep us fresh.

       Fresh air and sunlight are also important for our health. Sunlight gives us vitamin D, which helps our bones stay strong. Spending time outside can also reduce stress and improve our mood. Walking in a park, playing sports, or even sitting in nature can make us feel better. It is a good idea to spend at least 30 minutes outside every day, even when the weather is not perfect.

       Even if we eat well and exercise, we still need to see a doctor sometimes. A doctor helps us when we are sick and gives us advice to stay healthy. It is good to have a check-up at least once a year. The doctor can check our heart, lungs, and other parts of our body. If we feel unwell, we should not wait too long to visit a doctor. The earlier we get help, the faster we can recover.
