But the truth is that Sally’s daily life is difficult. Sally lives with her parents and her baby brother, Alex. Her parents can’t find a job, so they have very little money. They all live in one room in a cheap hotel. They share a kitchen with many other families and use a public bathroom. Sally is often hungry and she doesn’t have any toys to play with. Thousands of children in the UK are like Sally. But you can help! We need volunteers for our Children’s Centres around the country. Each centre has a playroom where children like Sally can play safely and a study room where they can do their homework. We need volunteers to supervise these children.
