Read and choose

You work in a restaurant. You ask

customers what they want to eat and you

bring their food. You work for three

hours a day on Mondays, Wednesdays

and Fridays and all day on Saturdays

and Sundays.

You work as a lifeguard at an outdoor

swimming pool. The job is for July and

August only. After that, you have to find

something else. You like the job because

you like working with people.

You worked as a driver but last week the

company you worked for told you they

didn’t need you anymore. Now you are

trying to find a new job. You want to be a

driver because you like working alone and

being outside.

You are a hairdresser. You work from nine

to five, Monday to Friday. You enjoy your

job and are very happy. You work with

other hairdressers and chat to the

customers while you are working. It’s a

good job but you don’t like the red jacket

and trousers you have to wear.
