A CAT FOR SAM

Terry and Sam are visiting Mr. Hunter on his farm. They are helping Mr. Hunter with animals. They see a cat. It’s running out of the house.

         Terry: - Is that your cat, Mr. Hunter?

  Mr.Hunter: - That's Pizza. He doesn't live on just one farm. He visits all the farms. I

feed him, and the other farmers feed him, too.

           Sam: - Why do you call him Pizza?

 Mr. Hunter: - I really don’t know. He’s red, brown, yellow and white, just like a pizza.

           Sam: - Come here, cat! Here, Pizza.

The cat runs away from Sam. Then Sam Plays with the cat. Soon the cat is sitting next to Sam and meowing.

          Sam: - Mr. Hunter, can I feed the cat?

 Mr. Hunter: - Of course. There is milk in the kitchen.

Sam goes into the kitchen and gets the milk. Than the happy cat drinks all of the milk.

          Terry:  - A cat is a good animal. I have fun with my cat Tiger. Do you want a cat, Sam?

          Sam: -  I like this cat. Can I have Pizza, Mr. Hunter?

 Mr. Hunter: - Pizza is a country cat, Sam. He’s only happy when he’s living on a farm. You can’t put him into a flat. Pizza likes it here.

          Sam: - But Pizza doesn’t have a good friend. Tiger has Terry, and Terry is good to Tiger.

 Mr. Hunter: - Pizza has all the farmers and farm animals for his friends.

Pizza runs to the trees.

         Terry: - I’m sorry, Sam. You can always come to my house and play with Tiger.

  Mr. Hunter: - And you can come to the farm and play with Pizza.

Sam isn’t happy, but he leaves Pizza on the farm with Mr. Hunter.

1. Mr. Hunter has his farm.
