It was a lovely autumn day.

The grasshopper played his violin.

An ant walked by, singing as he carried an enormous piece of corn.

There is a plenty of food in winter.

The ant was tired and hot.

The grasshopper wanted to play with the ant.

When the weather became colder and the ground covered with the thick snow, the ant tried to dig to found any food.

"Please, can I share your food?" , asked the grasshopper.

That winter the ant was very generous.

The ant gave the grasshopper lots of corn.

"But next winter, I won't help you", said the ant .
