Peter Rabbit’s Easter Oops!

One sunny warm Easter morning, Peter Rabbit was very excited.

He was cooking lunch and singing a song, hopping into the kitchen.

Suddenly he touched one very hot hob with his paw.

“Ouch!” Peter yelped. “That’s hot!”

Lucy Bunny saw him and rushed over.

“Oh, Peter! You shouldn’t touch hot hobbs!” she said kindly.

“You should always ask for help and use oven gloves next time.”

Peter felt a little silly, but he smiled.

“Thanks, Lucy. I won’t do that again!”

Lucy put a bandage on his paw. Her kind words and a bandage helped Peter feel better.
