London is the capital of England and the UK. It stands on the Thames, the longest river in Britain. It's famous for its London Eye or the Millenium Wheel. It's 135 m high with 32 glass capsules. The wheel was opened in 2000. Opposite the Millenium Wheel you can see Big Ben, the famous clock tower and the Houses of Parliament. It's very interesting to see the change of the Guard at 11 a.m. at the Buckingham Palace.There are many parks in Londo, too. The most famous -is Regent's Park. It has the largest grass area for sports. You can rest, walk or run in the park , but you can't ride a bike here. Only the policemen can ride a horse here. There are many other sights in London. Million of tourists visit London every year.The Englishmen love their capital very much.
