           Some people have three meals a day, others have four. Roman usually has three meals. His first meal is breakfast. He has it early in the morning before school. As a rule, he has a sandwich with cheese or scrambled eggs with a slice of bread. The boy drinks a cup of tea with sugar. Roman likes tea very much. His sister doesn’t like eggs and she usually has a couple of toasts and a cup of coffee.

           Some people like porridge for breakfast. They say porridge is very tasty food. The English usually have a big breakfast. The traditional English breakfast is a plate of porridge, bacon and a cup of tea with toast and jam or marmalade.

           The mother is the first to get up in the morning. She prepares breakfast for the family. Roman’s father and sister help her to prepare dinner and wash up. All the members of the family like Sunday dinner.
