She was holding Jock and Mrs Pritchett’s bag. ‘Your dog is a hero!’ she said to Mrs Pritchett. ‘The thief put his hand in your bag because he thought you had money in it. And that’s when Jock bit him. The thief got the fright of his life, fell off the motorbike and dropped the bag. Here it is.’
