I took part in a sports day at the park on Saturday. It wasn’t at the sports centre like last year. I’m so sad you didn’t come! I went in the morning at 10.45 a.m., and then at 11 a.m. my friends Anna and Jim came too. It was a fun sports day – players scored points, but there weren’t any prizes. We played a volleyball game, and then a baseball game! We were tired, but it was great fun. I love baseball most of all! We played tennis too, but I’m a terrible player. There was music and food and drink! A band from my brother’s school played some pop songs. We had a lot of fun. My dad enjoyed it, but he thinks the jazz band last year was better! At 8.30 p.m. I had a burger and salad, and Anna and Jim had pizza. There was strawberry ice cream too. Everyone had some – it’s our favourite! It was a great day!
