This holiday is celebrated on the 1^st of April.

On this day many people send cards to people they love. They usually do not sign these cards, you must guess who sent cards to you.They also send sweets and flowers.

This is a day when many people try to be with their families. For most British families, this is the most im­portant festival of the year.

The symbol of this holiday is "jack -o'-lantern". 

On this day families in the USA gather together usually in home for a traditional dinner. They have a turkey, sweet potatoes, and a pumpkin pie. All give thanks together for the good things they have.

People honour their mothers by giving them cards and gifts, and often have a family gathering.

It is on the third Sunday in June. It is a special day for fathers in the United States.

In Old England it was a spring holiday. Young people celebrated this day with flowers, dances and games.

People celebrate this holiday in Ukraine, Great Britain and the USA. They decorate the Christmas Tree, send postcards to their relatives and buy Christmas presents.

In Ukraine we celebrate this holiday on December 19th and it is a really special holiday, filled with joy and hapiness. When kids wake up in the morning, they immediately look for gifts under the pillow.
