Тема: Природа і навколишнє середовище
Підтема: Пори року. Погода.
Мета: розвивати вміння монологічного мовлення на рівні мікровисловлювання з опорою на ключові слова теми, слухову пам'ять та логічне мислення учнів, мовленнєву компетенцію; вдосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання, письма та говоріння; виховувати зацікавленість учнів у розширенні своїх знань, почуття взаємодопомоги, любов до природи.
Тип уроку: удосконалення знань та вмінь
Обладнання: підручник, картки для роботи в парах, картки для роботи самостійно, презентація, комп’ютер, аудіозапис музики П. Чайковського «Пори року», тематичні картинки.
Очікувані результати: на кінець уроку учні вмітимуть висловлюватися по темі «Пори року. Погода», навчаться правильно застосовувати тематичну лексику та вмітимуть працювати самостійно та в групі, робитимуть свої власні висновки.

Т: Well, let’s start our lesson. The topic of our lesson is ,,The seasons. Weather”. Today we’ll talk about four seasons of a year. You’ll use your knowledge, abilities and skills, you’ll show your skills in speaking about your favourite season. That’s why let’s go to the country of four seasons.

ІІІ. ОСНОВНА ЧАСТИНА УРОКУ
1. Активізація лексичних навичок
T: Look at the blackboard. You can see a tree. The tree is bare. All leaves are in this box. Why? Because it is our first step on the way to the Seasons Country. You have to wear this tree with leaves. You will be able to do this, if you read and translate the words and word-combinations on the leaves. Well, who will be the first? (Учні по черзі підходять до вчителя, витягують листочки зі словами, читають і перекладають їх та закріплюють на дереві):
hot warm cold cool sunny rainy windy cloudy snowy foggy frosty muddy wet the days are shorter the nights are longer
the days are longer the nights are shorter red, yellow and brown leaves
Now, there are lots leaves in the tree and it is very beautiful. Who can explain why these leaves are green, yellow, red and white?
P: Because these are four seasons of the year: winter, spring, summer and autumn.

March, April and May are spring months. It is a very nice season. The weather is fine, it is warm. There are many green trees in the streets, in the parks and in the yards. Sometimes it rains, but as usual the sun shines brightly. The birds returns from the hot countries and make their nests.
Look at the screen and choose the statements for spring.

2) T: And now, please, I want you to listen to music by Chaikovskyi and try to guess what season the music is about.
What did you feel while listening?
I can help you. It is hot. The sun is shining brightly. The sky is blue. There isn’t wind. The days are long and the nights are short. There are many green trees and nice flowers. The pupils don’t go to school. They have holidays.
P: This music is about summer.
T: Do you know any poems about summer?

3) T: OK. Now I am reading text about one season. Please, listen to me very attentively and guess what picture I describe?
This is a gold season. It comes after summer. The weather is cool and changeable. It often rains. The wind is blowing. The days become shorter and the nights become longer. You can see yellow, red, brown leaves everywhere. It’s time for gathering in the harvest.

4) T: What season is it now?
P: It is winter.
T: So, the last our county is ,,Winter”.
T: Let’s work all together. I’ll read about winter. You must clap your hands when you hear about other seasons.
December, January and February are winter months. The weather is cold and frosty. Sometimes it is very hot. It is usually snows. The days are long and the nights are short. You can swim in the river. You can play snowballs, make snowman, go skiing, go skating and go sledging. You decorate New Year Tree and sing kolyadkas. The flowers are bloom. In winter it is foggy and slippery.

5. Розвиток навичок писемного мовлення. Проектна робота.
(Учні виймають фантики з порами року та утворюють чотири групи. Кожна група має назву пори року .Учитель роздає картинки кожній групі, учні вибирають тільки ті, що відносяться до їх пори року. Клеять на постер і підписують)
T: Everybody takes a paper and make groups. Then I give you different pictures. You’ll choose only for your season.

2. Підведення підсумків уроку T: Our lesson is coming to the end. And now I want to ask you. What can you do at the end of the lesson?
P: We can name seasons, months and describe the weather in different seasons.
