Збірник завдань з англійської мови для вивчення теми "Telling About The Age" має на меті поглиблення і розширення знань учнів з теми та відпрацювання практичних усних і письмових навичок учнів 4 класу.

Завдання спрямовані на відпрацювання граматичних навичок при утворенні речень про вік людини і порівняяня з віком інших людей. Учням вже відомо правило утворення ступенів порівняння прикметників, тому конструкції, які вживаються у реченнях для порівняння віку, не викликають труднощів (Pam is 8. Tom is 10. Tom is older than Pam. Pam is younger than Tom. Pam is the youngest in our class. Tom is the oldest in our class.)

Також у запропонованих завданнях наведено правило про утвореня висловлювань щодо віку членів однієї родини (My father is 43. My mother is 35. My father is elder than mother. My mother is younger than father. Grandpa is the eldest in my family. My sister is the youngest in the family.) Цей матеріал є новим для учнів, тому може викликати деякі труднощі. Для того, щоб відпрацювати навички складати усні і письмові висловлення про вік членів родини, у розробці надано декілька однотипних завдань.
