Topic: Family (Сім’я)

Мета: закріпити лексику з теми "Family", розвивати навички опису членів родини, побудови речень, комунікації, критичного та творчого мислення.

 1. REMEMBER (Пригадай). Name the family members.

Завдання:

• Name 6 family members.
• Say the words you know.

Words:

a sister

a father

a brother

a grandfather

a grandmother

a mother

 

Example:
"Mother, father, sister, brother..."

 2. UNDERSTAND (Поясни). Describe your family.

Завдання:

• Describe your family members.
• Tell who they are.
• Explain what your family likes doing together.

Example:

"This is my family. I have got a mother, a father and a brother. We like playing games together."

 3. APPLY (Застосуй). Use family words in sentences.

Завдання:

• Make 3 sentences about your family.
• Ask your friend questions.
• Create a short dialogue about your family.

Example dialogue:

A: Have you got a brother?
B: Yes, I have. I have got one brother.
A: What is his name?
B: His name is Tom.

 4. ANALYZE (Проаналізуй). Compare family members.

Завдання:

• Compare two family members.
• Find similarities and differences.
• Sort the words into groups.

Example:

Mother:

• cooks food
• helps children
• takes care of the family

Father:

• works
• helps at home
• plays with children

Question:
"How are your mother and father different?"

 5. EVALUATE (Оціни). Express your opinion.

Завдання:

• Who is the most important person in your family? Why?
• What makes a happy family?
• What do you like doing with your family?

 

Example:

"I think my family is special because we love and help each other."

 6. CREATE (Створи). Create your family project.

Завдання:

• Draw your family tree.
• Make a family poster.
• Write a short story about your family.
• Create a family photo description.

Example:
