1. Warm-up (3 хв)

Game: “Guess the Topic”

Учитель показує картинки (або слова на слайді).

Учні відгадують тему.

Слова:

airport

doctor

stadium

pizza

museum

nurse

Учні визначають: Travel / Health / Sport / Food / Professions / Places

2.  Challenge 1 – Vocabulary Race (5 хв)

Клас ділиться на 2–3 команди.

Завдання:

На кожну тему — 30 секунд написати якомога більше слів.

Теми:

Travel

Places in town

Health

Professions

Sport

Food

Приклади:

Travel: suitcase, ticket, airport, hotel, map

Places: library, cinema, hospital, park

Health: headache, cold, medicine, temperature

Professions: teacher, pilot, vet

Sport: football, swimming, tennis

Food: bread, apple, soup, salad

Перемагає команда з більшою кількістю правильних слів.

3.  Challenge 2 – “Find Someone Who…” (5 хв)

Учні отримують картки (або усно).

Find someone who:

visited another country

likes pizza

plays football

wants to be a doctor

goes to the gym

visited a museum

Учні ставлять питання англійською:

“Did you visit…?”

“Do you like…?”

“What sport do you play?”

4.  Challenge 3 – Mini Quiz (5 хв)

Швидкий вікторинний раунд.

Hot Seat Game:

• One student sits facing away from the board
• You show a question to the class
• Class gives clues in English (not the answer!)
• Student guesses

Setup

• Divide class into Team A and Team B
• Put one chair (Hot Seat) at the front, facing the class
• The student in the chair cannot see the board

 How to Play

Step 1: Choose players

• Team A sends one student to the Hot Seat
• Team B stands ready to give clues

Step 2: Show the question

• Show ONLY Team B the question (e.g. “Where do planes land?”)

Step 3: Give clues

Team B gives clues in English:

• ❌ They cannot say the answer
• ❌ They cannot say parts of the word
• ✅ They describe, explain, give examples

Example:
Answer: airport
Clues:

• “Planes go there.”
• “You travel from this place.”
• “It is big and has planes.”

Step 4: Guess

• The Hot Seat student (Team A) listens and guesses:
  • “Is it an airport?”

Step 5: Score

• If Team A guesses correctly → Team A = 2 points
• If they cannot guess:
  • Team B gets 1 point

Step 6: Switch roles

• Now Team B sits in the Hot Seat
• Team A gives clues

Rules (keep it simple)

• Speak only English
• No shouting all at once (or allow it for fun chaos )
• No saying the word!

Make it more exciting

• Add a 10-second timer
• Give bonus point for full sentence:
  • “Planes land at the airport.”
•  Change students every round

5.  Final Game – “Create a Story” (2 хв)

Кожна команда отримує 6 слів (по одному з кожної теми):

Наприклад:

airport – doctor – pizza – football – teacher – park

Завдання: скласти 2–3 речення англійською.

Приклад:

“Yesterday I went to the airport. I met a doctor. We ate pizza in the park and played football.”

Фінал / Підбиття підсумків (1 хв)

Teacher:

“You were amazing today! English helps us travel, learn, stay healthy and connect with the world!”

Вручення символічних сертифікатів або наліпок.

Рефлексія

Учні завершують фразу:

* “Today I learned…”

* “English is important because…”

Всі разом повторюють:

 English is fun!

 English helps us travel!

 English connects the world!
