THEME: Your cousin’s family
Family tree, aunt, uncle, cousin, doctor, vet, photographer, teacher.
Here is my family tree, He/She is a …, They are …’s cousins.
PB, AB, PB Audio, AB Audio, flashcards , cup with the name sticks, cards with words, sheets of paper, pencils of different colours, ball, “Hello” song video, Physical Activity video, “Goodbye” song video, computer, TV.
By the end of the lesson Ps will be able to name their cousin’s family members. They will be able to identify such professions as vet, photographer, doctor, teacher and some family members.
The kind of the lesson: presentation of new material (new vocabulary and structures)
Teacher: Hello, pupils. How are you today?
Pupils: Hello, I’m fine thank you.
Teacher: Let’s greet our guests and sing a song. Stand up and make the line.

Ps form a circle and take a ball .
T: Let`s play game. Make a circle. Toss the ball to each other and on command stop you should say your friend`s name. His/Her name is…
3. Musical Words
There are words all over the class. (addition 1)
T: Now you are going to play a game. Your task is dance around the flashcards. I`ll play some music. When the music stops, I`ll shout out a word and you are have to find it and fold it from the letters that on LEGO.
T: bike, take, nice, snake, name, five.
4. White crow.
T:You can see some cards on the board. Point to the odd picture.
Dog, pig, cat, father, hamster.
Pizza, banana, brother, milk, ice-cream.
Doll, brother, ball, bell, bike.
Pen, pencil, book, bag, sister.
T: Today we are going to speak about a family.
T: Open your PBs on page 19. Look at the family tree.
Point to Tracy and say, «This is Tracy», then point to the family tree and say, «A family tree». Encourage Ps to repeat this several times
P: A family tree.
T: Now you are going to listen to the audio about Tracy’s family.
Play PB Audio (track Unit-1-L-7-1).
While listening to the audio, I`ll hold up PB and point to each member according to the speaker. Do it twice.
T: Where did you hear new words? Let’s name them.

T: Look at Tracy and Luke. They are a sister and a brother. Repeat.
Ps: They are a sister and a brother.
T: Look at Greta and Mick.They are their mother and father. Repeat.
Ps:They are their mother and father.
T: Greta has a sister and that sister is Tracy’s and Luke’s aunt. Aunt. Repeat.
T: Look at Mick . He has a brother, and that brother is Tracy’s and Luke’s uncle. Repeat.
T: Children of aunt and uncle are Tracy’s and Luke’s cousins. Repeat.
Teacher hands out sheets of paper. (addition 3)
T: take your pencils of different colours. Now you are going to draw your cousins and their family and make a family tree.
T: Now you are going to tell the class about your cousins’ families.
Use the cup with the name sticks to ask Ps to come to the front of the classroom and demonstrate the family tree they’ve drawn. Put a poster with prompts on the board.
Y: Look at the family tree on page 19. Look at Jim Martin and say, ‘He is a doctor.’ Encourage Ps repeat after me. (addition 4)
Show Ps a flashcard and say, ‘Doctor’. Ps repeat the word several times.
T: Look to Jane Martin and say, ‘She is a teacher.’ Encourage Ps repeat after me.
Show Ps a flashcard and say, ‘Teacher’. Ps repeat the word several times.
T: Now you are going to listen to an audio and repeat a text.
Play PB Audio (track Unit-1-L-7-4).
While listening to the audio, I`ll hold up PB and point to each picture according to the speaker.
Play the audio again making pauses for Ps to repeat each line. Do it twice.
T: Now you are going to sing a song based on the audio from the previous exercise.
Play PB Audio (track Unit-1-L-7-5) and let Ps sing along.

T: open your ABs on page 15. You are going to listen to an audio and stick the Tomson’s family members. (addition 5)
Play AB Audio (track Unit-1-L-7-1).
While listening to the audio, I`ll hold up PB and point to each empty picture according to the speaker. Play the audio as many times as Ps need.
Give Ps several minutes to stick members of the family tree.
Walk around the classroom and check whether Ps need help.
Use the cup with the name sticks to ask Ps to come to the front of the classroom and demonstrate family trees.
