Тема. Пори року та погода

Мета:

  • автоматизувати навички мовлення з теми з опорою на зразки мовних

карток, удосконалити вміння складати речення з конкретними словами, та описувати малюнок;

  • розвивати логічне мислення, мовну здогадку;
  • створити доброзичливу атмосферу, виховувати естетичні смаки, працелюбність, надати кожному учню можливість проявити свій творчий потенціал, сприяти розвиткові інтересу учнів до мови, що вивчається.

Обладнання: презентація, наочність до теми, аудіо записи, картки із завданнями.

І. Introduction

  1.  Greeting. Introduction to the topic

T. Dear, children! I am glad to see you today. I believe that all of you are fine today.

First I want you to listen to the song and guess what is the topic of  our lesson.

So the topic of our lesson is ‘Seasons and weather”

 We shall revise  vocabulary , describe different seasons and the weather, develop your reading, writing and listening skills and of course we shall have a good time. So open your copy books and write down the date and the topic of our lesson.

  1. Listen to the text about winter and circle a correct word.

Winter

Winter comes after autumn. December, January and February are winter months. In winter the weather is frosty. It is very cold and snowy. The streets and trees are white with snow. The days in winter are short and the nights are long. In winter people usually wear coats and hats.

In January pupils usually have winter holidays. In frosty and snowy weather children usually skate, ski, play snowballs and make snowmen.

Winter is a nice season. Some people like it very much.

  4. In winter people wear coats / sandals.
  5. In snowy weather children play snowballs / swim in the river.
