Objectives: to present new vocabulary, to develop reading and speaking skills, to help students make predictions about reading text based on visual prompts, to give students practice in reading for gist
Outcomes: by the end of the lesson pupils will be able to make predictions about reading text based on visual prompts, use the vocabulary on the topic

Greeting and aim
T: Good morning everyone! Nice to meet you. How have you been, my dear students?

T: Well, I have a few questions … What’re your favourite school subjects? How many lessons have you got every day? What time do classes start? How many teachers work at our school?
Today we are going to talk about school subjects, classroom activities and we’ll develop our reading and speaking skills. The topic of our lesson is “School”
Warm- up

T: What words do you associate with the word “School”? Write the words on the board.
(school subjects, lesson, break, classmate, teacher, events, knowledge, etc.)
