Past Continuous   

 1 Put the verbs into the correct form (past progressive).

1. When I phoned my friends, they (watch)  TV.
2. Yesterday at six I (have)  dinner.
3. The kids (play)  in the garden when it suddenly

began to rain.

4. I (study)  Science when he came home.
5. We (not / travel)  all weekend.
6. At 6 pm yesterday Aaron (work)  in his room.
7. His friends (swim)  in the pool all day yesterday.

5 Make past continuous sentences. For example, change "We went to the park" to "We were going to the park"
