План-конспект уроку англійської мови для учнів 6 класу з теми «Going shopping».

Щоб ефективно впровадити компетентність і змістовну лінію «Фінансова грамотність» на уроці англійської мови з теми «Going shopping», варто інтегрувати завдання, які розвивають практичні навички управління фінансами, збагачують словниковий запас і стимулюють критичне мислення.

 

Topic: Module 7d. Shopping

Aims:

introduce and activate lexical material on the topic " Shopping ",

to teach students to talk about their favorite kinds of shops;

introduce students to the basics of financial literacy (prices, budget, savings, bargain shopping)

learn to ask clarifying questions based on the scheme;

develop the skills of listening to the text, ignoring unfamiliar words;

develop the ability to maintain a dialogue with a classmate;

to develop memory, attention of education seekers;

to cultivate a sense of respect for their classmates and a culture of communication in the virtual space

Outcomes: by the end of the lesson, students should know the lexical material of the topic; uses new LO, talks about kinds of shops, give the information about shopping (oral); be able to maintain a basic dialogue with  classmates.

 

Type of the lesson: a lesson in the formation of new knowledge, the basics of financial literacy (prices, budget, savings, bargain shopping)

 

Materials: Student’s Book, Workbook,  Power Point Presentation, extra materials for the teacher and students, audio supplement, computer, presentation on the topic.

 

Key competences: the ability to communicate in native and foreign languages ​​(formed at each lesson), Mathematical competence, initiative and entrepreneurship social and civic competence, cultural competence.

Slide 3. Граматична гра. Ділимо клас на 2 групи, кожна група крутить колесо та робить питання. Можна грати так, щоб кожна група крутила колесо для іншої групи).

• Slide 4. Writing. Учні читають текст і виконують завдання.

Pre-work

1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку: "Shopping".

T: Now, children, let’s speak about shopping.

Обговорення: «Smart shopping» vs. «Impulsive shopping»

Учні діляться досвідом:
❓ Чи часто вони купують непотрібні речі?
❓ Як уникнути маркетингових пасток?
❓ Чому важливо планувати витрати?

Можна провести дебати: «Impulse buying is better than budget shopping» – одна група аргументує «за», інша «проти».

Ведення та опрацювання нових ЛО.

Слайди  8-13. можемо роздрукувати як флеш картки. Спершу, показуємо картку та повторюємо слова.

Slide 14. Ex. 1, p. 86.  Complete the sentences with the names of the shops in the box. Then listen and check your answers.

Планування бюджету на покупки

• Учні отримують уявний бюджет (наприклад, £50 або $100) і список необхідних покупок.
• Вони обирають товари в онлайн-магазинах (можна використовувати реальні веб-сайти чи друковані каталоги) і складають список покупок.
• Завдання: витратити гроші розумно, залишити частину на заощадження.
• Дискусія: Як можна економити? Чи варто купувати брендовані речі? Чому важливо порівнювати ціни?

Розглядаємо два малюнки до вправи, де знаходяться герої, що роблять. Далі слухаємо перший діалог – обговорюємо:
