T: Today we start speaking on the topic “The world around us. The countryside.”
Our objectives are:
to learn the new vocabulary on the topic;
to learn how to describe nature;
to practise the new vocabulary through speaking and writing.

1. Уведення нового лексичного матеріалу.
1.1. Мозковий штурм.
T: Dear friends, name the words associated with countryside.
P: chickens, pigs, horses, flowers, butterflies, rabbits, fishing, fields, mice…
1.2. Уведення нового лексичного матеріалу.
T: Today we’ll learn 8 new words on the topic “The world around us. The countryside.” Нave a look at the flashcards and repeat after me: It’s a mountain (forest/ village /lake/ island/ field/ river/ path).
1.3. Опис малюнка с.52 підручника, прослуховування розмови ex.1, p.52 (CD 2 Track 24)
T: Look at the picture on p.52. Answer the questions:
T: Listen and look. Then listen and say the words.
Pupils listen and repeat in chorus.
Pupils listen once more and answer the question: What game are they playing?
