Мета:
Освітня: введення нової лексики за темою “Weather”, опанування структурами “It's hot today” та “I like it when it is sunny”, залучати знання учнів з природознавства та географії.
Розвивальна: розширювати світогляд учнів, формувати комунікативну та соціокультурну компетентність. Розвивати вміння працювати в команді нарівні з усіма.
Виховна: виховувати любов до природи та екологічну грамотність.
Очікувані результати: учні використовують структури та лексику, презентовані на уроці для опису погоди в Україні та світі.
Тип уроку: комбінований (презентація нових лексичних одиниць, засвоєння її та розвиток мовленнєвих умінь учнів).
Warming Up:
Good morning! How are you doing today?
Every time when we go out or just get up and look out of the window we think about the weather.
Today we are going to learn how to describe the weather, to learn some new words. At the end of the lesson, we will be able to speak about the weather in Ukraine and in other countries and about things we can do in different weather.
How many seasons are there in Ukraine?
Name the seasons, please.
How many months are there in each season? What are they?
How many days do the months usually have?
And every day the weather is different.
Presentation of the new lexical material:
Look at the flash cards and repeat the new words.
Now, look at the flash cards and describe what you see (It's hot, warm, windy …)

This video shows us the weather in Great Britain and you also can speak about the weather in Ukraine.

Let's divide the class into two groups. One group has to write about the weather in Ukraine and the other about the weather in Great Britain.

Ми щойно писали і говорили про вашу улюблену пору року. А коли ми говоримо, наприклад, про погоду можна сказати яку саме погоду ви любите словами I like it when it is hot( warm, rainy…) Please, tell about the weather you like.
