Тема: Food. Приготування страви.

Мета :   

Практична: сприяти повторенню та активізації в усному мовленні лексичних одиниць та граматичних структур, необхідних для бесіди за темою.

Освітня: систематизувати та активізувати знання з вивченої теми ознайомити учнів з правилами приготування їжі на кухні;

Розвиваюча: розвивати мовні навички, інтелектуальні та пізнавальні   здібності; сприяти розвитку мовної здогадки; формувати комунікативну компетенцію учнів; кричичного мислення.

Виховна: виховувати  естетичний смак; навчити працювати в группах.

Обладнання: мультимедійна презентація “Мастер Шеф”, учнівські презентації, картки з завданнями.

Тип уроку: урок узагальнення та систематизації знань.

Ход уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Greeting and aim. Привітання й повідомлення теми та мети уроку. Good afternoon, boys and girl. I’m very glad to see all of you. I hope that people who really love English have gathered here!. I see you are in a  good mood. Now I want you to smile. So, please, look at each other and say “cheese”. That’s good Now lets begin our lesson.

Guess  the topic of the lesson

Look at the board and guess the topic of the lesson

Today we have an unusual lesson. It is a lesson show «Master Chef».  You know who is  Master Chef?  The master chef is a professional chef.  Who cooks in your family?  Do you like to cook?  As for me I like to cook very much.

 And now, children  each show has its own rules. Let's create them! …….

3. Phonetic drills

• As usual at first we shall practice some sounds аnd now let’s train our tongue, read tongue-twisters

[i:] – sweet, tea,  meat, cheese, beef

[i]- biscuit, , tin, chips

[ai]- pie, slice, kind, type, like, rice

[æ]- sandwich, salad, have, apple

[ei] – cake, break, plate, table

[λ]- bun, others, lunch, butter

[o:] –  salt, water, more, before

[u:] –  juice, food, too

• A good cook could cook as much cookies as a good cook who could cook cookies.

• Breakfast in the morning

Dinner in the day.

Tea comes after dinner

          Then it’s times to play.

• "The  Auction of the Products "|ˈɔːkʃ(ə)n|: Students "buy" products  Look! I have a magic box, there is something in it. Try to guess what it is!
•  Who has got a card with meat?   I  have got a card with meat.

Your home task for today was to find proverbs or sayings about food. Read them and translate into your native language

• Appetite comes with eating
• Tastes differ
• Live not to eat, but eat to live
• Hunger is the best cook

ІII. Oral Practice. Тренування учнів в усному мовленні.

And now I suggest you make a menu of our show:

 1. Cocktail  "I know the words"

2. Cooked a main dish. This is delicious.

 3. Dessert.

Each cook has his own unique dish. And today the "Master Chef"  suggests you to cook pizza «Margherita». Today, all of you will be chefs too. Let’s choose the  products which  we need to make pizza. Let's mark and write  them in the shopping list.

Now we’re going to buy the  products. What kind of a shop will we go to?

IV. Development of  dialogical speaking skills

What departments are there in the supermarket?

2 Act out a dialogue in the supermarket.

– Good morning! Can I help you?

– Yes, – I would like to buy……………..

VІ. Minute for relax !: Are you tired, children? And now it’s time to have a rest. Stand up please and listen to the task: 

Clap your hands when you hear the names of drinks, step your feet when you hear the names of food

• a potato; 
• lemonade; 
• cake;

V. Work in small groups

Let's make a big pizza together. You are divided into 3 groups Each group will have 6 pupils. Who will be a leader in your group?

You have all ingredients and let's make a pizza together.

But before cooking, we must learn the kitchen rules.

What steps should we make for cooking pizza?

Let’s put them into our magic oven.

VI. Development of reading skills

I love pizza so much that I can eat it every day. Pizza is good both cold and hot and it smells delicious. I especially like pizza Margherita with cheese, tomatoes and sausages. My favourite part of the pizza is the crust. Nothing can be better than!
