Dialogue 1: Computer Troubles

B: Did you install any new software recently?

A: Yes, I tried to download a game from a strange website.

B: You should be careful. A hacker could hack into your system and steal your passwords.

A: What should I do? I don't want to delete all my files!

B: Don't worry. Just run your anti-virus program. It will find the infected files and clean them.
Dialogue 2: School Project

A: Have you finished your article for the school magazine?

B: Not yet. I need to browse the Web to find some more information about gadgets.

A: Don't forget to save your work every ten minutes.

B: I know. I usually copy and paste the main facts into a Word document first.

A: When you finish, just click on this icon to upload the file to our shared folder.

B: Okay, thanks for the help!
Dialogue 3: Pros and Cons

A: I love my new smartphone, but it has some drawbacks.

B: Really? What’s wrong with it?

A: The battery is very weak. I have to recharge it twice a day!

B: That’s a common problem. But think about the benefits — you can stay in touch with everyone.

A: True. But sometimes I feel that online communication is too impersonal. I prefer meeting friends in person.

B: I agree. Technology is great, but we shouldn't spend all day with our gadgets.
Dialogue 4: Digital Camera

A: Is that a new digital camera? It looks professional!

B: Yes, it has a very high-quality electronic image sensor. The pictures are amazing.

A: But what do you do when the memory is full?

B: It's easy. I just transfer the pictures onto my PC.

A: Do you like printing your photos to put them in an album?

B: Sometimes, but usually I just keep them on my computer or upload them to the cloud.
Dialogue 5: Online Safety

A: I'm worried about my online safety. I store a lot of private information on my laptop.

B: First of all, you should never use the same password for everything. It's too easy to hack into.

A: I see. What about when I'm not using the Internet?

B: It's better to switch off your Wi-Fi or even the whole computer.

A: And what about my anti-virus software?
-
B: Always keep it updated. It’s the best way to protect your files from being infected
