Тема уроку: Кар`єрні перспективи.

 

Мета та задачі уроку:

Організувати ознайомлення учнів з фонетичним матеріалом і фонетичне тренування,ознайомлення учнів з лексичним матеріалом, повторення граматичного матеріалу, усне тренування учнів з оперування лексичним, граматичним матеріалом на рівні слова, словосполучення, речення,  організувати аудіювання учнями тексту у пред‘явленні звукозапису, монологічне, діалогічне мовлення учнів у зв‘язку з ситуацією, читання тексту вголос.

Розвивати фонематичний слух учнів, здібність до імітування, мовленнєву реакцію, здібність самостійно планувати свій мовленнєвий вчинок, слухову пам‘ять і слуховий контроль, розвивати вміння логічно послідовно висловлювати думки англійською мовою, культуру читання,  уміння порівнювати, узагальнювати вивчений матеріал.

Виховувати свідоме ставлення учнів до вивчення іноземної мови, формувати світогляд учнів, формувати розуміння іноземної мови як засобу міжнаціонального спілкування, розширювати міжпредметні зв`язки.

Обладнання:   Підручник, електронний дидактичний матеріал, відео матеріал, технічні засоби, робочий зошит, словник.

Основні поняття: Reputation, supply staff, consultant, recommendation, word – of – mouth, local press, сandidate, career prospects, leadership, networking, profile.

 Adjective- the degrees of comparisons: comparative or superlative.

Місце проведення: Кабінет англійської мови .

Методи навчання:   Інформаційний, дослідницький, проблемний, пояснювально-ілюстраційний, практичний. Метод наочності, бесіда, розповідь, самостійна робота.

 

Форми роботи:    Пояснювально- дослідницька, робота з різними джерелами інформації, створення проблемних ситуацій, дискусія, парна, групова, фронтальна робота, контроль і самоконтроль.

Хід уроку

 

1. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення:

1. Привітання - Greeting.

Привітання з класом, перевірка готовності учнів до уроку, бесіда з черговими.    (1 хвилина)

 

Т. Good morning, nice to meet you.

T. Sit down, please. Who is absent today?

P. All are present.

T. Thank you. Are you ready to begin our lesson?

P. Yes.

T. Ok. Let`s start. I`ve read some interesting quotation and I`d like to know your point of view. Look at the blackboard, read and translate.

 

2. Мовна розминка  - Warm-up. ( Мотивація   знань учнів ).

Діалог у режимі вчитель - учні ( 3 хвилини )

Учитель пропонує висловити думки за висловленням.

Good managers and leaders are born enablers who make it possible for others to succeed by providing the means and opportunities for actions.

Добрі менеджери та лідери народжуються в змозі зробити все можливе для інших щоб досягнути успіху, забезпечуючи засоби та можливості для діяльності.

 

T.  Do you think that some people are born leaders?

P. Well, yes, there are natural salespeople - and in a similar way there are people who are natural leaders. However, I think people can also develop into leaders if they have a long-term goal they really believe in.

T. So in your view, do managers and leaders do the same thing?

P. No, I'd say the roles of managers and leaders are quite different. A manager's job is to make things work well and achieve short-term goals.

T. And what is management?

P. So management is more the 'small picture': you know, running their department and the motivation of the team members.

T. And what about leaders?

P.  Leaders on the other hand, are 'big picture' people who think about the direction the organization is going and its long-term goals.

T. Who wants to add?

P. However, don't forget good managers, just like good leaders, may have leadership qualities.

T. So can you give me some examples of these qualities?

P. Well, let's see, for example, you need to be able to read situations, understand what others are thinking, and have a clear idea of where the company is going ... to have a clear business vision.

T. What do you need?

P.  You need to communicate your ideas - employees think you care about them. Sometimes though, you have to take hard decisions.

T. And can leadership be learnt?

P. No, I don't think you can learn it from books. It comes from experience and knowing your own strengths and weaknesses. I would say you can improve on weak areas though.

T. For instance?

P. Your knowledge about your field of work, say. Or your communication skills - you can train yourself to be a better communicator, listener, or presenter.

Our lesson addresses the topics of career prospects. It looks at methods of choosing a career. Our task today is to listen, read and talk about -Training and leadership; -Career development and opportunities; learn how to find synonyms; Revise:-Adjective. The degrees of comparison.

 

       2.  Аудіювання ( 5 хвилини ):

T. Our first ask is to watch and listen to Introduction. You are going to hear Jackie talking about recruitment. Before you watch, revise the glossary. ( Reputation, supply staff, consultant, recommendation, word – of – mouth, local press )

T. Now watch, listen and complete the factfile for Jackie Bradshaw ex.1, с.124 (прослухати інформацію та заповнити бізнес картку )

T. Watch Career prospects, interview. Jackie is talking about ways to attract candidates to hear agency. Tick the ones she mentions in the list below ex.4, с.124. (позначити фрази, які відповідають змісту інтерв’ю )

 

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання (10 хвилин)

Our last lesson was addressed the topics chosen a career. Your home task was to create your imaginary business profile. Let`s check out your works. You are going to meet other students from your class at a conference. Introduce yourselves and ask for the other person`s business card. Try to find out more information about each person you meet. You could ask about: responsibilities, the people they work for, if they travel much, their workplace. (учні представляють свої бізнес картки та відповідають на питання класу)

 

     4. Введення та відпрацювання лексичного матеріалу ( 5 хвилин ):

T. We are going to study new language. I`d like to focus your attention on the blackboard. Watch and guess the meaning and translation of the following words, repeat them. Put them in the sentences. ( Candidate, career prospects, leadership, networking, profile).

( робота з лексикою: ознайомлення з новою лексикою, фонетичне тренування, пошук синонімів, підстановка у речення за допомогою електронних дидактичних матеріалів )

 

    5.  Читання ( 10 хвилин ):

T. Our next task is reading. I`ll give you’re a few minutes to read through the text of exercise 2, page 44 quickly. Then focus your attention on the cartoon at the bottom of the text. Make your ideas about the possible mistakes the man is making.

P. The man`s mistake is trying to eat, drink and make conversation at the same time.

P. He`s also probably interrupting a conversation between the other two people.

T. Read and answer the questions of exercise 3 page 44.

     6. Повторення граматичного матеріалу ( 5 хвилин ):

T. Look back at the reading text and find the words in italics. Let`s revise the grammar  Adjective, the degrees of comparisons. Look through the table, explain  the rule.

T. Make a comparative or superlative of the following words.

T. Now do the tests .

 ( повторення граматичного матеріалу Ступені порівняння прикметників, виконання вправ за допомогою електронних дидактичних матеріалів, Test W, Internet- Native English. )  

 

     7. Письмо ( 2 хвилини ):  

T. Complete the sentences with a comparative or superlative based on the words in italics.     ( exercise 3 page 45 )

(вставити у речення прикметники у необхідному ступені)

 

3. Заключна частина уроку.

1. Підбиття підсумків уроку – Summarizing( 3 хвилини )

Узагальнення вивченого на уроці.

Оголошення результатів оцінювання.

Пояснення домашнього завдання - Homework.

( Вчитель пропонує учням різнорівневе домашнє завдання з використанням електронних засобів навчання ).
