All, much of/lots of вживаються зі злічуваними (Countables) та незлічуваними (Uncountables) числівниками. There are a lot of potatoes. - Є багато картоплі. There is lots of meat in the freezer. – У морозильній камері багато м'яса. All apples are in the bag. - Всі яблука в мішку. All sugar is in the box. - Весь цукор в коробці. You can also say: All of the apples are here. NOT: All of sugar is there.

Both і a few використовуються лише зі злічуваними. There are a few carrots on the table.- На столі лежить кілька морквин. Both apples are on the plate. - Обидва яблука лежать на тарілці. You can also say: A few of the carrots are on the table. Both of the apples are on the plate. NOT: There is a few salt. Both rice is in the box.

Use: all, both, a few, a lot of/lots of, some, any. There are many eggs. There is lots of meat in the fridge. A few potatoes in the fridge. Both carrots are there in the fridge. All of the eggs are there in the fridge.
