Children, pay attention to the title of the lesson and try to guess what we ‘ll speak today. Do you know what the word  pet means?I’ve got a pet dog. / I’ve got a dog. His name is Rover. I’ve got a pet dog. / I’ve got a dog. His name is Rover. He’s my pet. What the lesson will be about?

2 C My Pet. Ex.1, p.26 Look at the pictures of the animals, listen to the speaker and read their names.

Children, look at the pictures of the dialogue. Can you recognise any of the characters (Bill, Stu). What is happening? Who are these people?Where are they?What are they talking about? Ex.2, p. 26

Ex.2, p. 26 Children, listen to the dialogue and follow in your books. Check if your predictions were correct. Underline any unknown words at the same time. Answer the questions: Has Stu got a dog? What’s the problem with the dog? IWhat’s the name of the dog ?Is this Mr Young’s dog?

Find the examples of the possessive case in the dialogue.
