Varenyky Ingredients
4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
2 eggs well beaten
1 cup water
Combine flour and salt.
Add rest of the ingredients.
Knead until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let stand at least 15 min.
Roll out thin on a floured board.
Cut out rounds with a glass or a beer mug.
Use different fillings: berries, cottage cheese.
Eat with sour-cream.

Kompot Get an assortment of dried fruits such as apples, apricots, prunes, peaches, pears, figs or raisins.
Soak the fruit overnight in water.
Next day, simmer until tender.
Add honey to sweeten to taste.
