Holiday

 Traditions and Customs.

Christmas is on 25th December. It's my favourite holiday because I get a lot of presents! We have a big lunch and we eat lots of food. Then we watch TV and play with our new toys.

Mothers Day is in March or April. This year it's on 3rd April. I'm going to buy my mum some owers. She likes yellow roses. In the evening, we're going to go to a restaurant for dinner.

Easter is in spring. We give each other chocolate eggs. Last year, I ate ve eggs! On Easter Sunday, we go to church. In the afternoon, we have a big family lunch. We eat roast lamb and potatoes.

St Valentines Day is on 14th February. My boyfriend always buys me a card and some chocolates. This year, I'm going to make him a cake. In the evening, we're going to go to a concert.

New Year is on 1st January. We usually go to a party at my auntie's house. We drink champagne and we dance. We don't go to bed until very late!

St Nicolas Day is on 6th December. It's a holiday in my country. In the morning, we nd presents in our shoes! At school, we sing songs and we eat special biscuits.
